I installed my zen xtra on vista way back when and didn't have any problems with it at all. I used version 1.30.3.0 XP drivers, media source 5.10.38 and nomad plugin version 5.0.22 (the non-plays-for-sure version), I don't recall ever upgrading the firmware on my zen, for what it's worth =p

What kind of proc do you have on your phone? I've got good snes emulation going with Morphgear on my asus a716. Its snes emulator is pretty good but its genesis emulator blows hardcore.

more like mobile celerons without the mobile part. You can run windows on them though. Install linux then use vmware. I've seen people do that.

Nobody mentioned Debian Debian has a rap for being a pain to install, but it pays off in the long run since its packaging system makes it really easy to update stuff. I haven't tried it yet, but it would probably be easiest to use one of the net installers and just put a base system down first...
