Regarding the cold boot 0d hang, try setting the DRAM boot voltage to at least that of your VDIMM. You can find the boot voltage under the digi+ settings. Some have reported even having to set this at > 1.4 Volts in order to get around this. Presumably this is something that will get fixed in...

Performance in SLI is actually quite good for me and has been since launch day. It's of course still not 100% optimized performance-wise but still gives a decent jump in performance and doesn't cause any problems.

Actually it's not BTX at all. It is simply reverse ATX (mobo on the opposite side) flipped 90 degrees. It's such a simple and effective solution it makes me wonder why it took this long for someone to do it.

It doesn't force you to do so. It is in most cases optimal for cooling efficiency but is by no means a requirement. Use two fans in push/pull and mout it as an exhaust fan and your temps will be at least as good as the top air coolers.

Ok, if you aren't overvolting CPU or GPU and aren't expecting near-ambient temps then you can probably get by with this setup with your mainboard and GPU in the loop as well. If you want better performance you will need more rad.

OP - Probably not. The 2 gig versions will likely require new revisions for the blocks. As for a good block recommendation, the EK blocks are great. High quality, good looks and selection of materials, low restriction and excellent performance.

Which kind of socket do you have? Foxconn perhaps? Checked thoroughly for bent pins? Since the memory controller is on-chip and the problem persists over CPU changes I wouldn't be a bit surprised if this was a contact issue of some sort.

I've also been using this for a couple months now throughout the beta and am loving it. It's got a small footprint, updates itself nice and quietly and only nags when absolutely necessary. Definitely an improvement over 1Care.
