Instead of using my Antec 300watter i used some 420 watt powermax, and guess what! It fried my motherboard :-D!!!! wow do i hate powmax, powermax whatever the hell they call themselves besides a bad company. Never EVER buy low qulaity power supplies. When in doubt just pick up an Antec.

yeah, make sure you buy a good heatsink too, the 2500 or 2600 mobile will get you around 2.5Ghz with reasonable voltage settings.

What i think is a bigger concern would be heat issues. The GT is one hot running card. The BFG GT OC would hit 80 C which for me is very hot. So if you overclock past 400 whats to stop the thing from eventually frying.

I miss 3Dfx ;( I'm still running a voodoo3 in this machine. Its a shame 3dfx couldn't hang in there, one bad line and they go bye bye :O Shows you how competitive the graphics market has become. Hell, imagine if ATI or Nvidia had a bomb like the voodoo5, wonder what would happen to them.

basicly with that ALX piece of junk you are paying $2500-3000 in parts, the rest for their case and liquid cooling which isn't that much better than air cept on video cards. So if you want a $2000 case that has water cooling buy from alienware!

I'd get a nforce 3 250 board as they do allow overclocking in case you ever want to do so in the future (you will get 400+Mhz more outta ur chip making it near 3700+ levels) . Decide for yourself though for what suits you best. Hard has some reviews of nforce 3 boards and anand has a roundup...
