Reinstall windows? Good joke.
The traversal hitching is now completely gone as of the latest patch and nvidia driver update which triggered a new full shader recompilation on launch of the game.
Normal is harder than most games on hard, so no, very hard is going to give even gaming vets a challenge from what I've seen. Even playing on easy you are likely to die a few times when met with a horde of different classed machines lol.
Frame hitching is evident more and more later in the game as you progress past 20% I've found. Before this is was basically hitch-free.
Here's what I mean, it's traversal stutter basically as you can repeat it simply back tracking the same area where the hitches happen...
1 hour of gameplay at the start at 5160x2160 flicking between DLAA and DLSS Quality:
https://youtu.be/_rdeh23BDFE
But I think I prefer 3440x1440 DLAA/DLSS as the base framerate is obviously higher so panning camera motion is smoother:

Not unheard of. QUite a few modern games look better with DLSS than native due to how DLSS works (specifically the output stage where image reconstruction is done and the detail sharpening). Cyberpunk is the same for example.
Yup whatever Nixxes has done, they've closed the gap between these modes and quality settings that every other game seems to have and it's great to see.
I used Nvidia ICAT to compare each upscaler too:

Regarding DLSS etc^^
Here were my findings, DLAA vs DLSS (3440x1440 & 5160x2160):
https://imgsli.com/MjQ5MzEz
(do not compare the 3440 res ones with 5160 res as I have not rescaled the 5160 so when you zoom in with both side by side, the 3440 will look more pixellated as it's actually zooming...
Yeah Naughty Dog had to take over and fix what Iron Galaxy messed up I remember now. That knocked them back a bit for sure
HZFW is my GoTY so far for PC releases. I've played 7.5 hours straight now. It quite possibly also is the most optimised AAA PC release this side of the last 5-10 years.
Are you using DLSS? It's really good and you could leverage the extra fps boost. Vsync without Gsync will have some frame juddering, is just the way it is especially when you're pushing the GPU hard. I suspect your CPU will be the bottleneck though as the 3090 should be powering through this...
I did a comprehensive comparison of RT vs PT vs Raster vs Frame Gen vs DLSS vs DLAA. The results are telling, and the quote from Nvidia that DLSS is better than native is 100% accurate - When a game implements all these technologies properly.

Notice the GPU...
The car mods coming out for this are outstanding in quality, so much detail they put SIM car games to shame.
I give you a few new ones I installed recently
I bought the LSX Meta last year and after a week returned them for a refund. They are nice stereo imagers for sure but the smaller cabinets means you MUST use a sub else you basically don't feel anything in any media played through them. I had the KEF Q300 from launch and to this day...
Choo CHoo MFers! lol
There's a mod called Vehicle Customiser that adds a menu to CET when centred on any car you own to allow you to cycle (and keep) any colourway it has available in the game. really quite neat. This combined with the Car Customisation Shop up north means you can customise...
This took ages to process/cut together but gives a good idea of the average experience just mooching about Night City on foot, by car and general sights/sounds/bugs etc.
I am playing with mods that enhance the experience of course.

There are easy to drag and drop mods that change the way traffic behaves and how alive the city feels. night City Alive being one such example of a mod that makes the experience dynamic and interesting.
I'm also using Nova LUT which can dramatically change the colour grading and exposure...
It almost feels like cheating most of the time because you are so lethal at high levels as a netrunner, and every time your scanner is out you slow down time anyway so can effectively nethack your way through any battle if you're got buffed up RAM capacity and re-gen.
I'm on over 100 hours on...
Yeah my current playthrough (2nd time round) I'm already done with PL when it launched so am doing the gigs, races and side stuff on this with my current character build. I will shortly switch to a Sande build as have always been netrunner biased. Will be different for sure not being able to...

First time seeing this "bug" lol.
Also, the SVJ is a worthwhile car to add to the game, it's the perfect troll car :D

So say you were browsing the cars on nexus mods and wanted to install the Chiron: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/11331?tab=description
Clicking the manual download button on the files tab displays a box of the supporting mods it needs to work like tweakxl, redscript, archivexl...
So recently been adding new cars to the game, so easy compared to GTA games. Literally drag and drop, and various colour options too.
1: There is a virtual car dealer mod via your apartment computers to buy/sell custom cars.
2: There is Car Modification Shop, a mod that adds a physical ingame...
If you right click open in new tab, the screenshot is not 5160x2160 as the forum resamples them as mentioned. I just tested to make sure:
My screenshots were uploaded as 5160x2160. You can see them here:

It's DLDSR 5160x2160 being displayed on a 3440x1440...
FSR has come some way, not a long way, even FSR Quality still has temporal instability on distant textures, whereas DLSS Performance does not, and thus looks better/more stable. This has been demonstrated in the latest Digital Foundry AFoP video too.
Using DLSS Performance is excellent at 4K+ resolutions as Digital Foundry have shown in recent times (it's nearly the same render res as DLSS Quality at 1440p) - Nevertheless, Performance DLSS has come a long way. Getting 75fps+ (90fps average, ~110fps peak) on a 4090 on the Ultra preset. It...
