I haven't played this in a while, and forgot if the flickering of the lights was for mood or it was a glitch, even the flashlight flickers. I'm at the part where you just get on the elevator. I know, I should play it more.

41 here, and finding the time for gaming is getting shorter and shorter. I really miss those 8 hour marathon sessions. Play BF2:SF, Oblivion, and Condemned. Nice thing about being this age, you never get carded when buying an "M" rated game. :D

It turns out I did it by unlocking the pipes. Would it hurt the card to keep them unlocked? The artifacts are barely noticable when they're around. Thanks again.

Not over clocking at all. I'll try to wipe the drivers and reinstall. I really don't want to RMA another card. :mad:

I've noticed when I am playing games, I see very tiny dots, what looks like snow in the sky when I am playing. (No they're not winter maps :p ) I have an evga 6800GS CO. I have everything pretty much maxed, including AA. Could AA be causing this? Nothing is overclocked. I am running the 84.21...

I've got a couple issues with my mobo, It's a k8n Neo2 Plat, with the 1.b bios. Once in a while when I try to get into cmos, I hit delete and it goes through recognizing the drives and then all text disappears, and a flashing cursor appears at the upper left corner, never going into setup or...

mine are on their way back to newegg. I really hope I don't have to turn down the clock. Kinda ridiculous to pay for an oc card only to have to turn it down because it can't handle it.

Which drivers would you recommend? The 84.20?

Thanks, The case is running about 36 c. And the card is about 50 idle. I don't think that's the issue, but is there a program that would record the temps?

It's the superclocked one, I have not unlocked the pipes,and I occasionally see artifacts in BF2: SF. It's running the stock drivers that came with it, maybe I should upgrade the drivers? Anyone else having this issue?

This is a definite boost from my vanilla 6800, however, I was hoping there was a fix for the artifacts some folks are seeing when they unlock the pipes and others are not. I have the latest rivatuner, and as soon as I unlock the pipes, blammo, artifacts. Any help would be appreciated.

I have an MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum card, 4 slots for the ram, 2 were occupied by PC3200 512MB modules. I added a single 1GB module (same exact timing and brand as the other 2), but it only reads it up to 1.5gb. I know there's a way I can get it to read the full 2 gig, but I can't think of it off...

what mousepad do you use with your MX1000. I get some big jumps and have downloaded the last set of drivers, plus my binds don't hold if the logitech software is running. I tried plugging it into the ps/2 port, but the mouse just died. Maybe it's the usb -> ps/2 adapter that's bad.

I think i checked all of them. Not 100% sure on that tho. My sound card went on the fritz for a bit during a couple gaming sessions, so i couldnt hear all the dialog, even gunshots were very, very muted.

I just finished FEAR today, and I loved it too, but I am completely lost, I didn't understand the whole end of it. Or what the hell I was doing other than shooting scary things, and not so scary things and really fast scary things. Can someone explain the story a little more to me? Thanks.

not yet, but i like binding my middle button to jump, the two buttons on the left side to reload and throw nades, and if i use logitechs software, it doesnt recognize those. :(

I cannot see who killed who when I am playing, I turned it up to 1280x1024, and turned off help. I dont see the display of who killed who, also the font is huge, any help would be apprecitated. And the only reason I am posting this here is because I can't access steampowered.com from work...

I just find that there are usually a very high percentage of smacktards out there online, and playing against the bots with a few friends eliminates that issue. I'd rather have fun with 1/4 of the game than have a crappy time with all of the game.

From as little as I have played it (~1 hour) it seems very promising. I hope they do decide to put a co-op mode in, and I hope they address the lag issues with multiplayer. I am sure the shadow issue will be sorted out as well. So far, it seems pretty damned impressive MSI K8N Neo 2...
