Not a problem. For some reason VMware tools never installs the right driver with Server 2008 R2 and I'm assuming the Win8 versions. I usually just go to update driver on the standard vga adapter then navigate to C:\Program Files\Common Files\VMware\Drivers\ and then install the wddm video driver...

Did you check to see what video driver it installed? Sounds like it's using the standard VGA adapter...

It is configured to use DHCP already. Both of the embedded NICs are plugged into the network. I have tried setting the BIOS option to static, but when I do that it doesn't give me an option to configure the IP.

We're seeing the same issue with several clients running Barracuda Web Filters. The filter blocks part of the script and causes the clients browser to consume all available RAM and then just shit the bed.

Is your DHCP server on the new IP range? That's probably the issue. Try configure a secondary IP on the 10.100.100.0/24 network ans make sure DHCP responds to requests on both IPs.

The version 12.1 CLIENT is much better at detecting and blocking infections. I'm still not a fan, I remove it and replace all the time. I was just stating that it's BETTER than it used to be.

We've been moving clients to Vipre. SAV/SEP is much improved but the management console is still garbage. I've been impressed with Vipre so far. We're not selling much ESET these days....
