I had this same problem. Right-click the file, select properties and in the file name window, add .exe to the file name and click ok, then open it.

I have a Dell Dimension 8250 with 512mb RAM and want to get 512 more. Can I just get any kind of RAM and mix it with the original stick, or would it be safer to throw out the old RAM and replace it two new sticks of 512mb RAM?
