Thanks for the info.
I am thinking of getting a alienware ultrawide 34" gsync monitor :) 3440X1440 120Hz. But not sure if I will get used to ultrawide and curve??
Hi Guys,
I have this monitor, I was wondering do you guys play pc games at 1440p or 1080p on this screen? I know not many GPU's can handle smooth gameplay in 4k, was wondering will it look ok in 1440p or will it look out of proportion?
Yeah had a look, and nothing :(
Is the packaging big for the switch you purchased?
My sister lives in Los Angeles, I could get her to ship it here but not sure how much that would cost or would it be much cheaper than using a mail forwarder.
Hi Guys,
So if I want to connect both a xbox one s or ps4 pro to get HDR gaming etc, I have to use HDMI1. But I also want to hook it up to my PC, so I guess I need HDMI 1 as well to get the 4:4:4 4k@60hz. How do I achieve this? Using a HDMI switcher?
ok thanks. So if I wanted to plug in my xbox one S and also computer, this won't work for me?
Since to get sharp text I need 4k@60 4:4:4 for the computer then the xbox one S I also need 4k@60hz 4:4:4 as well??
Thanks guys. I don't have a 4K HDR TV. Only a 4k Philips monitor. Want to play xbox one S and ps4 pro, my philips only has HDMI 1.4a so not 4k@60Hz. Unless the philips does a great job with 1080P ?
ok thanks. I am deciding is it worth swapping this monitor with my current Philips BDM4065UC 40"? I want to use it for PC, PC gaming, movies, console gaming. I normally play CS:GO on the PC and LoL
Hi Guys,
Does this monitor display nicely with the xbox one S or ps4 pro?
I will need to use the HDMI port as the consoles do not have displayport. HDMI 1.4 only have 4k@30hz.
Now I don't mind playing it at 1080P, does 1080P display nicely on this monitor? Anyone here hooked up their console...
Phinix: nice marketing for Philips right there :) haha
I haven't tried those games yet, too afraid as I only have a GTX 970.
Only played CS:GO and LoL in 4k so far.
What fps are you getting in MGS5? Also did you max aa and ultra settings?
Hi Guys,
I have this monitor, but it only has HDMI 1.4 and DP1.2. So do you think there is any chance of streaming netflix 4k or any streaming service in 4k? As I heard most if not all require HDCP 2.2 unless there is an adaptor that will make it work with this monitor...? Was looking at Roku...
