yes this is my LOAD temp. i actually bought this cooler to have a bit of room for overclocking but i am really surprised about the low temps from the q6600, thats why i wondered and asked in here first before i do something wrong and break my cpu.
well that sums it up i guess. so i assume coretemps of around 29-33 are normal in idle mode then? i know it depends on many things including room temperature but its nothing inconvenient, right?
i searched the forums but i didnt find anything about it... maybe just typed in the wrong words but since i saw you writing about wrong temperatures read out by speedfan in your guide i figured why not ask in here.
every tool i use for reading out my temps on my q6600 displays the cores at...
they do?
because i bought it online but its a reseller in germany and i asked if it is possible to just pay the difference. he said that i will get either a new card or a repaíred one but that it takes 5 weeks to process.
okay, just talked to the shop where i bought it and they told me that it takes 4-5 weeks for graphic boards to process so i ordered a 8800gtx from evga now. if i get my old board replaced i have to sell it on ebay or something.... but i cant sit here without a working pc for 5 weeks.....
okay other rig same shit....
but the worst of all is that i cant find the bill of that card and i dont know from where i bought it.....
maybe i will try calling my local gainward support.....hopefully they will take it back.
i cleared my cmos, updated the board to the newest beta bios. no change.
i will put it in another rig to test it l8r that evening.
gonna let u know what happened.
thanks so far
what i figured out now is that if u enter the options in eve u have a drop down menu where u can select one of my graphiccards. i selected the second one and moved one client to the second monitor... that solved it. i am running all 3 clients with 60+ fps now.
but that is only valid for eve...
Hi,

I am running 3 EVE Clients fine on my primary Display just fine with 80fps in each client. As soon as i drag one client to my second display framerates drop down to 30fps on each client. Even the 2 clients left on...
Happy New Years to all of u guys.
Okay, now i have a few questions regarding my dual monitor setup plans.
There is only one game i play most of the time and that is EVE Online. I like to run 2 clients at the same time. And thats a little tight on just one monitor. So i decided to buy...
i just bought perhaps one of the last CPUs on eBay... :) the 4400+ that is with 1MB Cache, yay !!!!
now i need the am2 retention module and get the SI-97A CPU Cooler and i am set ;)
thx for the info brighton but i want to buy a AM2 CPU so i dont have to worry about future price cuts.
thing is i already have purchased a 4600+ CPU but i agreed with the store owner that i can exchange it for a 4400+ if i would like and he pays me the difference ofc.
