Yes thats correct. How is the mobo controlling the speed of the second fan though if the other one just stays at full speed?

Not at all....plus you can remove them if you want. Very true, it is pretty wide but I like the added room it gives you to route the cable in the back. I wish the front door would swing the other way.

So I just installed the 212+. Is it normal for the heat sink to move just a little bit? I've tightened down the 4 screws but I can still nudge it a bit by hand. Just wondering if this was normal.

Yeah I'm gonna see how the SP120 do with it first. I'll go full speed and run Prime95 then back them down to 7V and watch temperature. That's what I got it for based on the reviews, $20 from newegg.
