Was posting to say it was in stock at New Egg but when I double checked it was already gone in like 5 minutes. Sniping is probably the only way you're going to get one at this rate. I got lucky and was quick on the draw.
Thanks for the replies. I might pull the trigger on them. I'd love to see some more reviews though. Here's hoping I get two sticks that will easily overclock to 3200... but the silicon lottery and all.
Speaking of QVLs, the 3900x is not listed on any Asus QVL (as of yet). As to your point -...
I don't see any 32GB sticks on the QVL for the new Asus CH8. https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/SocketAM4/ROG_CROSSHAIR_VIII_HERO/ROG_Crosshair_VIII_Series_Memory_QVL.pdf
What motherboard you using? I have an Asus Crosshair VIII Hero and 3900x in bound. I'm tempted to order a pair of these but with a 15% restocking fee, I'm quite hesitant. Man a stable speed of 3200 would be great!
I want 64GB of RAM and have been scouring the net looking for new reviews of 4x16 memory on Ryzen 2 (preferably with an x570 motherboard). No real luck so far. I have an Asus Crosshair VIII Hero on the way and hopefully a Ryzen 3900x soon as well. The motherboard uses a Daisy Chain memory...
Thanks for the tips guys! Yes there are way too many 500 series cases out. I still have not pulled the trigger on the case as I am really wanting something with at least one 5 1/4 external bay (and preferably no glass) for my blu-ray drive. I did, however, get my Corsair 850x PSU in. Stoked...
Just got mine in today all based on this thread - thank you. Luckily I was home - the wind almost blew the envelope off my porch. This is officially part #1 of my new Ryzen 3900x build. Decided on a Cooler Master H500 for the case (will order soon). Closely looking at the ASUS Crosshair VIII...
Been after Vermintide for a bit now. HumbleBundle has it in their Yogscast Jingle Jam bundle for $35. GMG wins with $5 - first time purchase. Thanks for the tip!
In addition to this, Nvidia needs to quit with the AppInit_DLLs injections for their Optimus tech. They are wrecking my life at work with this crap. It's an old, unsupported method that needs to die.
Not excusing what Nike may or may not have done but an FYI for everyone...
Quest software has been bought out multiple times. Previously by Dell and now by some firm hell bent on suing everyone under the sun.
If you use this software, make damn sure every plugin and bit of the software is...

Who pirates music these days with Spotify, Google, Amazon, and iTunes? Aside from a few rare tracks or hold outs (looking at you Tool) , you have access to an unbelievable selection not to mention it's completely ad-free. With video content, you can subscribe to every video service out there...
Been reading some other threads - kind of a mixed bag. Some folks are saying it's not worth it. Others are saying it is a steal. Most seem to agree that SOUND FORGE Pro 11 is worth $30. Magix may be offering discounted upgrades but not certain. The other concern is plugins made by Izotope...

I sure wish I would have take advantage of this deal. I have a 13 yr old HP LaserJet 1012. Tiny little beast. It is still on the original toner cartridge! This sure would have been a great upgrade -- Maybe next time...
Aside from typical problems from any VPN, I like PIA. Cheap, fast , reliable. I actually use it to improve my ping to some northern game servers from Texas. Drops ping about 20 points.
More folks seem to be out right blocking detected VPN traffic. Still would recommend.
Have to echo what many others have already said: The sales are so meh. Remember when Steam had insane discounts? I spent so much money back in the day because the deal was simply too good to pass up. Now very few of the items ever reach that sweet spot. Yes I can see how the goal post has...
$20 for all that software sounds like a steal to me. Never used it; don't know if I ever will. But I got it! Nice little stocking stuffer for me. :asmile:
Hyper-v in win 10 1709 does this. Ended up crashing due to stopping all non-MS dll loads. If you use personalization software like Ivanti/AppSense, this will be a problem. Say bye bye to bookmarks and hello pissed off users.
When have ads or any form of annoyance ever decreased? It seems like a declined user experience and increased annoyance level are in direct correlation to site revenue. How's it possible the more pissed off I am at some random website, the more money it makes?
As others have said, this will...
This x1000! And if they allow an upgrade to Oreo, does that mean it will be Project Treble capable? Haven't done much research on it but it seems like a cool tech and something I definitely want in a new phone.
Good point - if wireless charging is missing, LG V30 will win my $$ -> Headphone jack, wireless charging, HQ dual cameras, Quad DAC, and SD. Guess we'll find out on Wednesday.
Major turn offs for a new phone:
Non-removable batteries
Locked phones
No regular updates
Vendor crapware
Vendor customizations
2:1 ratio skinnies
No headphone jack
Every feature(less) leak pushes me farther away from even considering the Pixel 2. I want an HQ flagship. What alternatives do I...
Att keeps raising the price on my grandfathered Unlimited Plan every year. Therefore, I make it a point to use as much data as humanly possible. I still seldom go over two or three gigs. Time for a change.
True that. I was getting rid of all my Yahoo email accounts when I noticed I couldn't do squat on their site. Took a couple hours before I was able to update my email address.
Was thinking about grabbing Skyrim SE for $18 bucks. Worth it? Curious about mod compatibility.
Didn't see anything posted about this sale. Looks like some pretty decent deals especially if you missed the Steam sale.

These caught my attention:
Doom - $12.90
Dishonored - $2.30
2:1 ratio? Never really looked to into why phones keep getting skinnier. I personally don't see the appeal although admittedly I've never used one. Guessing it's a cost savings thing wrapped in glittery "it's new and different and better." I don't own any bluetooth headphones so I'd prefer...
Still on a Canon XTI. When will canon start supporting 4k video at a reasonable price cause I'm itching to upgrade. This fellow and his partner have been hanging out in my backyard. You should have seen him and his buddy get after a squirrel. Great entertainment!
Cropped, touched up the...
Am I the only one here who likes the idea of a bigger phone so I can read what is on the screen? My eyes aren't what they used to be and I find myself having to increase the font size.
I'm can't wait for the Pixel 2. This old S4 is on its last leg. Already popped out the faulty switch. Now...
White listing tools are going to become an essential staple right up there with AV and FW software. AppSense Application Manager (Ivanti Application Control), Bit9 Parity, CarbonBlack (think they bought out Bit9), and no doubt plenty of others. Parity hashes everything and if it's not white...
