That's neat. Though I don't think it's "closeable" huh? The pricing is more than I'd want to pay though. :s
Hmm, so the 12" MacBook Pro is nothing but a rumor... the closest I can get to it would be the MacBook. Cool, that answered a lot of my questions. Thanks guys.
Ah, I never fancied the white look much. The casing is alluminum on the Pros. Lastly, I strongly despise integrated graphic... since I have seen so many under perform to my use.
:( Well that sucks. I would dive for a 12" macbook pro if apple decides to put out one. Same casing as the...
Hello,
I'm in the market for an ultra portable laptop. Currently, I'm in a toss up between a 12 or 13 inch tablet PC or a 15" MacBook Pro.
15" MacBook Pro because of its unrivaled aesthetic look and the ability to dual boot and be native in each OS. Tablet PC for being ultra portable [which...
Enrickey is correct. The UP button isn't necesary anymore.
However, I find myself fumbling in the My Computer window trying to get to the desktop. xD
I usually have all my desktop icons hidden, so in XP, I would just open my computer and press the UP button once to get access to my...
hmm... it seems they have caught on.
The CSR told me that they've been talking about this particular pricematching scenario all day and that they are not allowed to pricematch with newegg.com. She also mentions that the CSRs are communicating with each other about this case. BTW, if u hear...
But it's a great way to entertain people though. Regardless of what their intention was to sell those items, the anticipation and excited feeling of people who bought the bag of crap more than makes up for the 5 bux they spend. Some of the stuff aren't too bad anyways.
I have a Zalman 7000B, so I just stuck the end of the CPU temp sensor to the lowest slot in the fins that will fit it. It basically becomes part of the heatsink since it's so tightly sucked in to the lowest part of the fin. It's pretty decent for such a simple attachment. It always gives me a...
Langford's answers are correct. I would like to add a few things.
I suggest creating at least 2 partitions. A small one for OS and every other program that you can easily reinstal from disk.(Office 2003, Photoshop, Acrobat Reader, etc) Also allocate enough space to this "primary partition"...
actually, you don't need any boot disc.
Simply insert Windows XP disc into the drive and boot from CD. It will ask if you want to repair, say no and instal new. If you have more than one partition, it will default to instal a fresh copy onto a partion with no OS yet. If you have only one...
you can't simply "kill" 6GB of storage space on your harddrive.
probably it's showing how much space is "free" for use. In the worst case scenario where the old OS refused to be deleted for whatever eason, you can simply reformat the entire drive and start over.
Maybe the man needs to confirm his decisions are well made on the parts... or just showing off his nice rig.
I'll assume the first and say that's a pretty solid rig, me say. No dedicated sound card though? Maybe I'm just an audiophile... but onboard sound just doesn't cut it for me. :)
I can see exactly where the OP view comes from. I was also into building an SFF a month back.(I'm sure you guys were bothered enough by my noobish questions)
However, I took things into consideration and decided a Shuttle (while being my "dream" compact power machine), just won't cut my...
Just the topic I was looking for.
I know there's a modified UXtheme.dll file for winxp sp2 that allows you to apply visual styles directly without having to use a program.(other than the default "appearance" tab)
What about win xp x64?
Proves worthy of the CompUSSR label. ;)
As for the review... "Technology Guru" demonstrates such knowledge level... then what would that make us? Technology Gods? lol...
Thank you, I have proceeded to post the same post over there.
I thought this set up I have is pretty common. I mean... are there THAT few x64 users? I've seen A LOT of people going with my motherboard and a 64 bit CPU... I wonder if they tried using x64 windows too and if having the same...
I know it's not the bios because it is set to 1.1&2.0. That is the only choice that allows 2.0 besides 1.1 only and disable.
I suspect that it is 1.1 because when I transfer data to my PSP, windows complain that the device is 2.0 compliant and that I will get faster speed if I connect it to...
For some bizzare reason, my Windows XP x64 doesn't recognize USB 2.0. The ports on the motherboard are 1.1... even the ports in the front of the case where its connected directly to the pins on the motherboard is also 1.1.
I have Windows XP x64 Professional with Service Pack 1 installed. My...
nice.
That's some really bright light! What type of lights are they? Do they produce a lot of heat? And does it come in a "cooler" looking color?("cooler" not in term of "awsome" looking)
wow... hitting 72*C?!
Do all NV cards do this? I mean, I got an eVGA 7800GT CO and it heats up to 58*C when I play Dreamfall... Got me worried.(Especially the HDD temp sensor display starts blinking wildly. I placed the HDD temp sensor to sense my video card's temp instead)
hehe, just as I had expected.
The 7600GT is in a very good price range for its performance. Not to mention the 7800GT and 7900GT that everyone seem to have.
I must beg to differ to the first claim you made. I find myself in MANY situations trying my hardest to see as FAR as my poor eyes/lcd/videocard can feed the image to me... Sometimes, to plan my move before I make the dive. A sign with an arrow on that far far away corner perhaps? Would be...
I wouldn't know about the Aspire PSU, but from the stories that I've heard, I wouldn't trust my precious components to it.
I got that PSU with my X-Qpack (I think, it's 520w aspire), and I replaced it with an OCZ 420W. If nothing's helped, at least I got some piece of mind.
EDIT: In case...
Hello,
I think many items posted on here are small and easily shippable. Furnitures may not be a practical thing for ppl to want to sell on here.
I just got myself the Jerker desk with overhead shelve for $45 locally. I suggest you look on Craigslist for postings in your area.
Not...
yumm... all great titles. I'm currently feeding on Dreamfall.... and when I find the time, Syberia 2. :)
But another monkey island would rock my world.
QTF.
But if one is to insist to bench with 3DMark, I think the closest test to current games would be the version one or two generations old 3DMark. I mean, even Oblivion isn't as taxing as 3DMark06. So for today's games, the comparable bench would be 3DMark03 or 3DMark05, not 3DMark06...
While we're on the subject... but slightly off topic.
I have always had the question how well the CCBWE 0610 over clocks.(not sure exactly "ccbwe" but has w in it)
I have heard that the CCBBE 0610 overclocks very well, so I'm just wondering how well the CCBWE 0610 overclocks.
Better or...
hmm... I'm under the impression that Shuttle are a little too compressed in space for much expansions. May be too limited in space for his need of "extremely powerful system for gaming". I've only seen the beefy video card fits when the user mod the case by cutting out the side.
QFT.
If X-Qpack doesn't fit your taste, I'd go for one of those Aopen G325 one to look more flashy. I wonder why not many people have that case. Looks pretty good to me.
Hmm... I think they'd see it anyways through their scanner thing no?
Wouldn't it raise more suspicion if you seem more "sneaky" about it?
Anyways, I think a duffle bag with good padding will do.(especially those with harden sides that has a plastic piece in the sides to keep shape) No...
You know? I always thought it's the 7900GTX that ATI wanted to pit the x1800xt against. Just that the x1800xt got stomped and falls somewhere between the 7800GT and the 7800GTX? The reviews and benches I read suggest so.
So any card greater than the 7800GT would be equivalent or better...
Well, given that you are doing little to no gaming... you shouldn't need a nice video card. Unless, of course, you go with the mentality that new beefy system needs a video card that "fit" w/ the performance.
I had an on-board geforce 6100, and it does everything fine. Everything but...
