I use some Shure e4 earbuds. They hold in well and are really good quality, just watch the traffic - a truck with no exhaust sounds like a little electric golf buggy going past ;)

One thing nobody ever mentions with them is the heat. I run two of them side by side and in the summer I can only bear running one. I even change the desktop background to be darker. They crank out the heat!
