I would have to give ATI/AMD a lot of credit about not letting the true capabilities of 5800 series cards out to Nvidia. I think Nvidia was definitely caught off guard and had to ramp up performance of fermi at the cost of power and temperature. All of which doesn't help Nvidia, hopefully Nvidia...

good taste flylow!! I just ordered a LIAN LI PC-A70A from newegg yesterday for $219.99. I looked at several other full towers but liked a70a from LIAN LI the best. It is very roomy and it lookes to be modular in the interior layout.

I'm glad 4870x2 is doing so well even at beta stage. I was thinking about a gtx280 because I was little worried about AA at high res( I`m running at 1920 x 1080). I`m also glad that ATI added more memory, it does seem to help ATI even with the greater bandwidth of gddr5. I'm getting that...

As a second reply, I just got done watching a SPAWN dvd , it played fine but I did notice some artifacts while playing, nothing major but was noticeable. It does get hot when you play dvd's so watch out.

sorry for the long time in getting back to you. I can say I can play DIVX short movies from the internet without lag at all.

Today I installed a nlited version of XP on my 2133 along with 2gb of ram. The 2133 really likes XP better than VISTA, it's actually speedy until you really need that processor :( . I didn't buy this laptop for speed, just for portability and light video and pr0n(:D) watching.
