I just watched Samsung's Neo QLED TV full reveal and noticed quite nice gaming feature. You can switch to 21:9 or even 32:9 and even move image to bottom/middle/top of the screen. It would be nice if LG can implement something like this.

Many of the 3080 have exactly same cooler as 3090 so it should be even quieter than 3090. But demand on 3080 is so high is its lot easier to get 3090 vs 3080. Performance is good but only issue I can see is that nvidia is going to rls 3080 Ti in 2 months and it should have 20GB vram at msrp...

I have similar vertical bands, in my case if you divide screen to 3 vertical parts the middle one is the darkest and bots sides are brighter. I never noticed this in normal use.

You are right, but there should be some ammount which is normal and which is too high and could cause issues. So you could be on the edge with the error rate, it could work for hours and just randomly drop just because of more intereference from your environment.

I noticed difference in error rate also from how the cable was angled/rotated on the plug, even when I switched ends got different behavivour, also little difference on different hdmi ports.
