Hey all,
I bought this AMD 7900X3D cpu for a project that ended up getting canned. Brand new in box. Open to offers.
Asking $390 shipped CONUS, prefer paypal F&F or venmo, open to others and shipping elsewhere for a cost just pm me.

Long history of trade...
Probably thinking of Clover or DUET.
I'd be willing to try to flash my Asus p6x58d-e to see if we can add "native" support, I can always flash back if the BIOS gets bricked, otherwise the only options are those legacy M.2 drives like the samsung 950...
LGA1366 with one of the hexacore...
heatware under Commander, I have 2FA enabled on this forum and am ready to provide more information as needed to assuage any doubts.
I am open to reasonable offers/trades, all are priced shipped for US48 - if you're outside that just reach out and we can work something out. Prices are PP F&F...
If I had something that could use them I'd be interested, got a motherboard or anything?
Wow, super tempting! Way better deal than Amazon, I'll chew on that. Thanks for the info! I've been wrestling on which way to go for my CPU but that combo might sway me!
100% agree, and unfortunately they don't make it clear but you CAN change your look anyway you'd like, with any equipment. I don't remember the steps anymore but you customize the gear to look like something else.
Too simple, too many fetches, awful rewards. I guess newer gamers that haven't...
Tile bro , avoid ceramics like the plague.
Tile and tempered glass don't mix at all. I know you said it was kids, but both times?
Probably one of the plastics with tint if they're that destructive: plexi, acrylic, poly, etc. Slap some tint on.
Second vote for 40mm noctua, and maybe a bigger heatsink if you feel like modding it. If space is a concern you could probably find a laptop blower/heatsink too.
there's some thin wire and metal devices that are good for the tape, I used them originally for removing glass from LCD screens... I'll try to remember the name
3466 is relatively fast, but I would try one with prime95 and see how hot you can get it. If its 2 dimms its better than 4, especially if they're double sided...
Yes you can get aftermarket heat spreaders too. Even water blocks, though I haven't done that since a triple channel x58 build. I...
Not sure there is much else for mice to innovate on. My buddy had a logitech wireless mouse at least a decade ago you could pick up and use in the air, some remotes are using this tech now....
I would LOVE if we went back to thicker laptops, these ultra-super-thin designs are getting...
It's all tradeoffs really:
Mesh breathes well, and doesn't stop flatulence at all lol. If you sit on your legs/feet it can be hard on the mesh, mesh doesn't like hard surfaces. It's more like a hammock for your body but some meshes are courser than others, can be uncomfortable on bare skin...
Plex, jellyfin, emby. I use jellyfin cuz I like FREE, and no internet neded once you have it downloaded and your library info downloaded. It's been great when internet goes down to watch stuff on local. You can get the app on fire tv and all sorts too
This thread inspired me to dig my stuff back out. After the house fire it looks like ServPro killed my 4x512 crucial ballistix tracers ddr-500. Those sticks were so nice too! Don't trust those people to take care of anything you care about.
Looks like the OCZ coppers are OK though so far...
I still have my semi-retired asus p6x58d-e, x5670 at 4.3ghz, and 3x4gb ddr3-2000 chugging away. Might slot a gtx 1080 in it, it's been paired with an 8gb r9 290x until recently, I swapped it for an rx580 8gb though.
I always wanted to try some of the gskill 2400mhz memory kits, see if my IMC...
AI probably.
Used mining cards are fine if they had good thermals, but the fans might be shot - I bought an rx 580 8gb the prior craze and it's worked great other than the bios being set for mining, but it had dual bios anyway -- easy fix
I'll see if I can dig up any screenshots, my 3800x2 had a weird stepping - LLB9E or something. Would do 3.2ghz on water, 3.4ghz peltier. Opty was hard to get 3.2, 3.1 was the voltage wall. Still that single core opteron/fx-5700 can clock really high, probably 3.6+
OPTERON 165 for best bang for the buck, except for a few of those x2's with 1mb l2 cache per core. 3800x2 was plenty as well, no point in the higher freqs if you OC.
still have my DFI boards and a couple asus
6000 is the best bet right now for AMD or Intel IMHO, the crazy 7-8 kits are nice but for the costs and real world difference it's hard to justify IMO.
woah crazy, I mean I get it there wasn't THAT much difference but why the height of the 5/4 adapter LOL, it only needed to be tall enough to engage the locking tabs and provide another set of tabs... LOTS of wasted space on that PCB.
and is that molex for additional power?
