Yeah, that is definitely not reasonable for them to make you pay shipping a second time (or even the first time, perhaps!). I also wonder what the point of a replacement is, if nothing has changed in the product.
Thanks for the input. I have heard about leaks but I haven't experienced any, yet. Do you think there's any chance that shipping caused the leak in your case? Was the box damaged?
If the corrosion (or organic growth?) from the mixed metals blocked circulation, could that create pressure or...
Sounds like a good plan! Maybe you can check for damage/corrosion in the water block. It might be risky to use again but if you do, you should probably add some kind of anti-corrosive.
If you're doing everything stock, the CPU will throttle at 68°C. For example, I saw the temperature on one computer hold at 68°C but the core speed dropped to 0.5GHz. It was very slow and almost unusable. When the cooler was new, it easily held the same computer below 60°C, running at 100% CPU...
Have you run any stress tests? You have to track the temperatures. The 360s we bought could easily cool the system at max. load, when they were first installed. Over time, they became less and less effective. We tried stress-testing one yesterday and the temperature immediately hit the roof; it...
We bought Enermax AIO coolers for our Ryzen workstations. 5/7 have been confirmed to have failed and I expect the others to be failing when they are inspected.
The way that these fail is really frustrating and sneaky. The cooling degrades over time. Sometimes, it's slowly and sometimes quickly...
I might be able to try but the Enermax has already failed. Unfortunately, it looks like these coolers work at first and then quickly fail. This is the second Enermax 360 to fail and the previous 240 probably had the same issue. It was hard to identify at the time but after having two more...
Hugely disappointed in this. I have seen two of these fail in under 90 days and I have read many customer reviews of people that experienced the same thing. The cooler works at first and seems to be a great solution. After a little bit of time, the performance degrades until it's unable to cool...
Temperatures are way better with the Enermax Liqtech 360 AIO. I also opted to get a new case and have re-installed everything in that.
I'd still like feedback on the benchmarks scores, if you don't mind giving me any feedback you might have.
Thanks!
Hi,
I'm getting confused by reviews and results on the 1950X cooling options. I read one review that said they got 78°C at 3.9GHz with the Enermax Liqtech 240 AIO and that it was stable:

Do they...
