    "a faster, more powerful chip than Intel for the first time." First time in a long time maybe, but not the first time. Athlon K7 was faster than the PIII when it was released and Athlon X64 smoked anything Intel had to offer until Core 2 came out.

    Not true at all. Linux support for Bay Trail/Cherry Trail was terrible until just recently, particularly if you got one with the goofy 32 bit eufi.
