No, they didn't go over that. I would just beat them to it and get in touch if I were you.

I just spoke with Alternate, where I purchased my Black Ridge. The replacement samples will be in stock with retailers and ready for shipping late January/early February.

That's where I got mine from as well. Have you heard from them regarding a replacement?

    DAN HSLP-48: A powerful sub 50mm heatsink

Might have been easier, I just preferred this solution. I would hope the mod wouldn't change any chance of replacement seeing as I was under the impression that I had bought a complete product that I didn't ever need to present in original condition again. I think I will post a small build log...

Sure thing. As far as I can tell its only a coulpe of millimeters on the IO side of the fins that needs to be removed in order to make it fit. I actually thought it was in place until I placed the motherboard on a flat surface and spotted the offset - it's really that close.

For anyone wondering, the Black Ridge does not fit the Asus Strix Z390-I. Time to get out the power tools.

Great, thank you very much for your feedback. May I ask why you wouldnt recommend the C7 - is it due to noise levels or do the other two coolers simply just perform better?

Thank you very much for your input. To give some clarification, I would rather not delid and I will be playing on a 2560x1440/165Hz monitor (for now anyways). The bang for your buck factor is not my biggest concern as I would gladly pay the premium for the 8700 over the 8400 if there is any...

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

Hi, Like many of you I'm getting my V2 in January and have most of the components ready (Corsair SF600, GTX 1080 Ti FE, 32GB HyperX Savage 2666 RAM, Samsung 850 EVO 500GB) I have, however, been trying to figure out what CPU to go best with this case seeing as several people have experienced...
