I'm just about to order 2 of the Crucial CT16G4XFD824A VLP DDR4 sticks from eBay from a UK seller for £175 GBP each, so £350 total. Quite pricey, but can't really find better deals as that RAM isn't in stock anywhere in Australia and also appears to be sold out from everywhere internationally...
The new Mini 1080 GTX that Gigabyte recently announced looks pretty cool - it's only 16.9cm in length.
Would it be possible to fit a full-sized 3.5" HDD by creating a custom mod/bracket in the DAN A4-SFX next to the Gigabyte Mini 1080 GTX as there would be some room left to the right of the GPU?
