NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I've been using this build for over a year now. Running an 1800X Oc @ 4ghz with a 1080ti. Its been fantastic and very solid. Pretty much used it every day for heavy 3D work. Reading and catching up on these posts has been fun and I feel compelled to build another one with newer components...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

The cables I had made by Cable Mod cost me £100. Pretty expensive. Although I can't fault their service I would definitely make your own if you have the time.

Use two 120mm case fans underneath the Accelero exhausting air and you'll get great temps. If I remember the difference is about 10 degrees from intake.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I really wanted a card which had an adequate cooling face plate already to save me from using the mini heatsinks. Good to know for the future. I looked at an MSI gaming X 1080 which I've got which would have been ideal as but of course the PCB is too wide for the N-Case. I wasn't aware of the...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I think I got really lucky with the C14. I went on Amazon UK and there was a company which had one in stock new. I did'nt believe it at first and had to double check with them that it wasn't a C14s which had been listed wrongly. It arrived promptly too.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

So after following this thread for more than a year my build is now complete and I've been running it at work for a few weeks now without any problems. I work in VFX for the film industry and I do a lot of 3d work and editing. I absolutely love it and it would never have been built if it wasn't...

In exactly the same boat as you. I even have a brand new C14 ready with AM4 brackets ordered from Noctua. I'm not keen on that biostar board. Would need to have wifi at least. I'm justifying the wait because I believe the main manufacturers will probably release itx boards in the not too...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

The latest launch gave many tech journalists access to Ryzen systems to benchmark them against intel. The results look promising. Ive been wanting a 5960 or a 6900k for a while but have been reluctant to spend that much on a CPU. The 1800X matches, and in some cases betters, the 6900k for half...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Ryzen CPUs launch date official! March 2nd Can't wait to try one in the N Case when they release ITX boards. The TDPs of these chips are amazing as are the prices.

Anyone else waiting to see how the new AMD x300 boards fair in this case? Ive hade my Ncase for a while now as was going to start building with an Asrock X99 board but either the new AMD multicore might be better for price and performance than Intels or at least their release may force Intel to...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Ok I see so it has lot to do with the type of fan controller. I've nearly always used seasonic psus and their higher wattage ones are noticeably quieter. Worth noting for my next build.

Sorry am i not correct in saying that these PSUs fan curves work on percentage load in which case the 600w should be the quieter one?
