NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Does anyone have an M1 V5 that doesn't have a two-color LED for the HDD/power light? I tried switching the power and HDD cables to the header but now I have a flashing blue power button. I might just unplug them if theres no red! It's not like I need to see the light on when I can hear the fans...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Hi guys, I've currently got a EVGA 1080Ti ICX FTW3 preorder in my cart. Unfortunately the estimated ship date is in May and I'm considering somehow getting my hands on a 1080TI FE (hopefully not through a scalper) instead for my 7700K + 240mm AIO NCase build. What I'm currently thinking of doing...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Speaking of Founders cards, since EVGA's 1080Ti FTW3 card is supposed to come out soon, (and much less taller than the 1080 FTW! 4.37 inches instead of 5 inch PCB height) Would the temperature benefit of an open air cooler be detrimental if I have a 240mm radiator? Unfortunately I haven't seen...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Are you returning the PSU's for the coil whine? What company? I was gonna buy my SF600 from Amazon but I'm not sure if they'll let me do that more than once, if at all.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

quick question (this is my first build): i've already bought a right angle 8pin power cable (kareoncables on ebay) for an upcoming build involving an EVGA 1080 FTW since it has a tall PCB that necessitates a right angle adapter. Now that the 1080TI ICX FTW3 is on its way, do I just buy a...

Project Omni - Ncase M1 [Build Log]

To top it off, what temps are you getting? I'm planning on putting a 1080 FTW in mine!

KRAKEN X52 CONFIRMED FIT (I also updated the google spreadsheet to reflect.) As a side note, I installed the cooler without CPU or socket cover as a test fit. Can I leave it like this until I get the CPU or should I disassemble the cooler and replace the socket cover?

Sounds like a worthwhile investment then, no? I don't really want to buy an HDD for my build seeing as it might not fit. If better endurance is what the Pro will get me then I suppose having a -slow- backup of mission critical files on an external HDD I have lying around somewhere is alright.

    Best hassle free 1080 gtx

+1 for EVGA! I would've gotten an Asus 1080 Strix but by all accounts regarding their customer service sounds nonexistent to put it bluntly.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Sorry i won't be able to answer your main question (new to pc building), but I would definitely consider filters unless you can manage a positive or neutral air pressure in the case. Also what's your reasoning in getting the 960 Pro instead of the Evo? I'm planning on getting an Evo but...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Oh man I if that's the case hopefully I'll be able to trade in/sell my 1080 for the 1080Ti a few months after release :^) Anything to help push more pixels to the X34 monitor without SLI!

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Might the EVGA Powerlink (http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=600-PL-2816-LR) work for taller PCB cards? EDIT: Nevermind looks too thick. Although it would be nice since I'll be using an M.2 slot, leaving the SSD space at the face free for wiring.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Corsair has relatively stiff tubes do they not? I'll check around to see if I can find how flexible Kraken tubes are. I'm open to air cooling, but really would like to have a watercooler for overclocking stability. Also because an open air cooled GPU might limit how effective an air cooler is...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

In your case, and many others I'd assume; the 1070 instead of the 1080 is a matter of cost? I've seen far more 1070 builds than 1080 builds so I began to think that it was for heat management after hearing about throttling that may occur with reference style GPU's despite how beautiful and...

Nooblet First Build feat. NCASE M1 Compatibility/Performance Woes

Hey everyone, I made this new account after lurking around this thread hardcore /no pun intended/ because I plan on using this case for my first build. My current build consists of: 7700K + Kraken X52 (400mm tube length compared to 300mm of all Corsair AIO units) EVGA 1080 FTW GAMING ACX 3.0 +...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I don't mean to sound difficult, but why not? He says the case closed fine, and I am not opposed to buying right angle adapters to make it work. I plan on pushing pixels to 3440x1440, and would like to get the highest framerates possible at a small form factor, so I went with the best rated card...
