Thanks a lot. A lot of planning went into it. Just be advised of the GPU compartment width and the width of the water block + fittings. Mine is a bit taller than the clearance which is why I'll either be using the window kit when it's released or creating my own window mod.
Pantera_666 can you link me to the post that loafidelity is talking about? I've got all my supplies to do custom cables with varying lenghts, the double wires are my concern atm.
Should fit in the bottom at the front (at least looking at the space with my sfx psu). You would likely need to cut the midplate to fit in the dual one if placing it at the bottom of the case.
Approx. 24mm between the EK waterblock and the edge of the case.
In other news, I had to remount my block (it was off a bit) and my thermals are now as follows:
Ambient 21 C.
i7 4790K OC'd to 4.6 GHz @ 1.3v:
@ idle: cores are 20-22 C.
@ 100% load: the cores range from 66-74 C. Minor jumps...
Man I've really been on the edge about getting one of these to downsize my NCase build. Pricing has me second guessing myself right now but these pictures are like the devil on my shoulder saying "it's only money" lol.
I'm a little confused at the GPU width compatibility. The specs say 45mm including backplate and 40mm without. Can you clarify if this means the GPU backplate or the plastic shield that is in the case?
If you were going to use a GPU backplate can you remove the plastic shield giving you more...
I definitely like the rounded corners best. But what if the two back corners of the window were sharper to match the back corners of the side panels; I think that would look great.
Make the entire side panel an acrylic window. Then use an adhesive to attach the panel clips to the window. You can use a tint around the edge of the panel to hide the adhesive of the clips when looking at the case.
Then offer a version with cut outs/holes in the window for airflow and a solid...
