There will always be flaws. If you buy a Meltdown and Spectre fixed CPU in the future, they'll find another CPU flaw a couple years after you buy it. It's a never ending battle. Then there are also flaws you will never know about....

Those stats have nothing to do with CPU sales. The stats are based off the number of people running the benchmark program, not people buying the CPU. It's expected AMD would be significantly higher because people want to test the new CPU.
