everyone makes a big deal out of power consumption i dont even look at stuff like that im always using 1000 watt psu or more.Im sure the 980 ti will have plenty of driver support left again 350 for a 980 ti is still the better deal
Is that all you got?Now instead of trying to avoid the subject please explain why you posted a video that didnt show anything that even remotley fit the conversation? Its sad you post multicore amd cpu's against skylake to get your point acrossed sorry but you fail
please learn something seriously you have showed nothing now eerything i throw up is random ok now i can smh.then i get a video from cpu guy showing some old amd cpu's comparing to a 6700k lol give me a break.this is all you guys can come back with atleast i bothered to watch cpu's video and it...
I threw up 2 links with facts now 3.im not acting like a 3930k is the end all cpu all im trying to say is they compare well to skylake and will beat them alot of the time so therefore it is not worth the upgrade i dont get what your not understanding about that?It simply would not in the least...
Uhh ok? there comparing skylakes to older amd cpu's? did you even watch the video? where are they comparing a 6 or 8 core intel to a 4 core>It is not in the video dude try again. Ill show you the difference between 4-6 and 8 core with the game they show you in this video ashes of singularity...
please show us even 2 proffesional reviews comparing the two you seem to talk alot yet show no proof atleast i showed you a comparison showing your wrong a skylake loses to that 4 year old cpu and it has to run at higher clocks just to keep up.Thesmokingman i apologize if i offended you im more...
Intel Core i7-6700K 4-Core 4.0GHz compare Intel Core i7-3930K 6-Core 3.20GHz CPU
I rest my case and thats with the 6700k having an 800 mhz advantage in clocks you run them both at 4 ghz steady and the 3930k is quite a bit better then the 6700k.
If you have have the money to buy a skylake then why would anyone choose that over a 5820k for pretty much the same price? 2 extra cores for 50 bucks more and a better gaming cpu on top of it.It doesnt clock as high as the 6700k but from this test a 4 ghz 5820 matches and beats a 6700k skylake...
Clock for clock there pretty neck and neck this in noway would be a huge upgrade in gaming, infact im pretty sure in big rts games like the total war series you wouldnt get stutter with the 3930k like you would with a 6700k.If 5-8 percent better performance clock for clock is a huge upgrade for...
I would seriously consider buying a 3930k 6 core you can pickup a used cpu for like 150 the motherboards are around 250 and you can resuse your ram and it has 6 cores.I dont think a 6700k is all that future proof to be honest with only having 4 cores
Im pretty sure at higher resolution it takes more stress off the cpu and lays more on the gpu and at lower res is where the cpu will be more likely to bottleneck a gpu
I have a 3930k on the way and am looking at getting the Asus Rampage IV Extreme .My first question is where can i find a compatible ram list for these boards?I went on the ROG site but obviously i could not locate it on there.Second i see different opinions on how fast of ram can be run on this...
Thanks for that Araxie can you let me know what cooler your using?Im thinking you must be using water for that kind of overclock? Im pretty much stuck with air so im thinking a noctua nh-d 15 i would be pretty happy to hit 4.4 with that.I looked into xeon's to if they overclocked i would...
Update this is going to sound weird but i actually upgraded from a 3570k and went with an older cpu in the 3930k. I got a 3930k used for $150 and a good motherboard will cost me around $300 and can resuse the memory i got so not out any money on having to buy new ram either. So i saved a few...
i got memory running at 2133 mhz
well considering my 3570k runs at close to 100 percent usage compared to 40-50 percent usage for the same fps with a 6700k id say its a worthy upgrade however im going to a 5820k
Guys no need to argue i just asked a simple question. However ive decided im going with a 5820k as ive done alot of research on this and the 5820k to me is the best cpu you can get for the money right now,Ive seen a big fps increase in certain situations over the 6700k so in some games the 2...
I currently have an I5 3570k overclocked to 4.5 ghz with a gtx 980 ti.I was wondering if in my situation what would you do get another 980 ti for sli or maybe get one of the new skylake processors?I would be looking at a 6600k.I get mixed reactions when it comes to this but i wanted to come to a...
