So this fits perfectly inside of the airplane front seat huh? And I'm also wondering just how great that mod padding is to be worth $30. Can I get more explanation on this? I'm very happy for you and would love to support you, it just feels that this kickstarter campaign lacks details all over...
My only real complaint here is that the outside looks very... busy here. Is it possible to hide some of the external things and make it look more... flat?
As a side note, with the M1, there is no room for a portable monitor, correct? As having this as a carry all with one of the new Asus 15'...
I'm not really sure the window is worth the loss in airflow. If that's where the 2.5 inch drive cage area is, sure, but otherwise, that's space for fans to breathe.
They argue a bunch and are usually fine. I think it's best for them to let each other get their own passion project out, and then get back together to talk about the next step. I'm excited to see how it works.
Yeah no ODD. Again, this size of case is designed with a USB disk reader if needed. They just don't really have enough use to justify the space they take, and take away from the look of the case. No window, no ODD. Just sleek and stylish.

Pretty sure that's exactly what you want. Otherwise you can try modding a NCase to cut out a side panel window in it and put a slim 240mm rad on the bottom, but that has mediocre performance compared to the full thing.
Only one that stripped for me is one of the PSU bracket screws. Turned out I didn't even need to unscrew that one, but it still kind of sucked. I will say that the black paint on the back does also easily come off from the screwing, but that is more a nitpick than anything.
Looks great! Perhaps for the next batch there would be a card holder for identification that would hold a standard business card, or other types of branding instead of having to tie a tag to it?
Given that the production from the bags and the cases are from different manufacturers, I'm guessing that is a no. Unless Lian-Li recently unveiled a bag making subdivision that is.
Love this idea. Shaking up the market to make better options for this is needed, and it's fun to see just how much this forum is dedicated to making the market as good as possible.
If you really want ODD support, just get a USB external one. The apple one for example, while overpriced, would blend in perfectly if put on top of the case in a silver design. There are plenty on amazon to choose from as well.
1080ti should have the same coolers as their 1080 counterparts. I'm pretty sure most companies aren't changing the design much between them.
Regarding the glass/acrylic, think about the cost to them. They would need to sell a lot for it to be reasonable to purchase a lot, when the demand for an...
I'm not sure how I feel about how the front I/O looks. It is possible to put it flush with the corner of the chassis to have it kind of fall off into the edge rather than just kind of look like it was stuck on the middle? I think that would look more elegant. Also can we get a USB-C port on...
The NCase is a different niche to the DanCase. CPU cooling is better even with air, as you can fit in small tower coolers instead of only low profile ones. You also have more room for cables and such. It's bigger, but different.
Is there anything wrong with the tried and true Noctua U9S? Yeah, the colors are ugly, but it's damn hard to beat its performance as an air cooler in this case.
Yeah, I don't think the lighting would get past all the cables, PSU, distance and such to make it look that pretty. I love the idea though!
Window mod seems to be the easiest solution unless you want to try using something like fiber optic cables to transfer the light over somewhere which seems...
Placing the mobo and the GPU back to back seems cool, but wouldn't this limit M.2 support on most ITX boards if I'm imagining this correctly? Yea, you could put it on beforehand, but I feel like heat would be a big issue, especially given that most of them aren't great at that anyway.
Wallye? Taktik? Interesting.
Also, with the website update, are we finally going to see an update to the NCase page to include things like a user manual and such?
If this case is designed to be travel friendly, I thin that water cooling support should be minimal without attachments. Space matters too much that all I really see it needing is a 120mm rad space for an AIO. I agree that 3.5" drive support is silly. We're starting to overlap too much with the M1.
I'm so glad they actually look good. If I didn't already have a working mobo, I would be on these 100%. If you alright have a Z170 board, the upgrade isn't worth it, but people looking to come into the market have actual options this time which is great!
It lacks the crucial component of the "frunk" for SSD storage and an optical drive, making it an inferior design. I doubt w360 or Necere have any patents that would affect Japan's production of it, but if they can sell it and make it at a good enough price, sure. I do like the colors though. Do...
I'd love to see this also next to a Sentry and a Dan Case. I know the aesthetics are different and uses are too, but it's really worth knowing what were working with with all the stuff there is to be offered here.
Awesome! To be specific, what are the dimensions of the keyboard you fit in there?
I'm assuming that there is barely enough room to fit in a fold-able pair of headphones like the M50x's, but it looks amazing to me, especially with the removable pocket.
Side Note: Look at w360 rocking the...
That's nice of you to help out Dan with carrying cases as well! I love seeing the community working together on projects. I like the idea of making it a different brand. Hopefully this means more for the future of both though!
Off topic, but does this man that we can expect an update to the...
I like it. Sandblasting makes a lot of sense, and with the market for these products being higher end, I think the increase in cost is worth it as long as we can still sell under the $200 mark before shipping.
For the black, does the Razer Blade use sandblasting? Because I feel like they do a...
So is there no front IO for this case because of how small it is?
I'll say the same things here that I said to Necere on the LRPC thread, which is that you should focus here on defining an identity for the NCase brand. Make sure that this case fits that identity rather than the goal you want...
Where would you put it? The mobo has to be in the back for the IO, so the PSU would have to be in front of it somehow, which makes tower fans incompatible. What you seem to be asking for is a completely different case.
The chasis is the same with both the ODD slot and without it. It just has the hole on top. If you decide to put in an ODD, then you miss out on space for two 2.5" drives, but there is plenty of room in the case for them anyway, like M.2.
No issues at all. Much shorter than other coolers other people have used and has no ram clearance issues at all. Make sure you get the M9a if you are still using an AMD chip though.
I think that makes sense then. Making some things smaller, but not making the enclosure as small as possible is what defines the vision of NCASE to me. I'd just say remember to make sure the case can fit the weird ITX 1070s so that people don't get discouraged by having to use weaker components...
