My keyboard came today and I can honestly say it's a joy to type on a mechanical keyboard. Still getting used to it, but the Reds are very easy to press and the noise isn't bad. I haven't had a problem with the small right-shift key. I might have to get a cherry-brown board for my work so I...
Mine arrived in Charlotte, NC early this afternoon and instead of Dec. 6th delivery it says it will be here tomorrow. They overshot their estimate (not complaining). Looks like mine left Bloomington early Saturday morning and flew across to land here earlier this afternoon - roughly 2-day...
Update:
Order Sunday night and received my tracking number last night at 10:40pm EST. Estimated delivery date is December 6th. Essentially a 2-week turnaround if everything is on schedule. Also, for people asking it's coming from Carson, CA and I'm on the East coast in NC.
Ordered a 6Gv2 Red Switch on Sunday night (11/25) and still haven't received any tracking number yet... I could have ordered from Amazon and gotten Prime shipping and had it Tuesday. I won't complain, yet - good price and kind of a gift to myself so I'm not in any rush. But, if it doesn't...
I ordered two this morning at 11:30am EST using a credit card and I'm still in "Order Verification" stage. A buddy of mine also ordered one at the same time and he's still in "Order Verification" stage as well. I even opted for the "rush processing" because I wanted to have them by the weekend...
I just wanted to start a thread on battery life. I was lucky and got my iPhone 4 on launch day. Didn't have any yellow splotching on the screen, and have been nothing but happy with it. Once I activated my phone, I fully charged it to 100% and started to play, as any person does when they get...
As a current user of a Westinghouse 37W3 37" 1080P monitor, and have been for 3+ years now, I can fully recommend using a 37" monitor as your main computer monitor without reservations.
Don't forget you are going to have to find a male mini-displayport converter to use this monitor with anything other than a new MacBook/Pro/Air. I believe currently there is only conversion from female mini-display port to Single/Dual-Link DVI and VGA not the other way around.
And on a...

just throwing it out there; but, 1366x768 (720p type displays) isn't the best for computer monitors. you're better off tryin' to find a 1080p display for a computer monitor. I have a Westinghouse 37w3 1080p monitor and use it for my monitor/tv/xbox 360. I used to own a Visio VX32L...
i'm sure someone will go into greater detail, but: LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) and Plasma are both technologies of flat panel displays. They display content that is fed to them such as Cable TV; DVD players, HD-DVD player, Blu-Ray players; or game consoles like xBox 360 and PS3's and Computers.
Buy the dual-link. It doesn't matter, I am using a Dual-link for mine and have no problems. It's future proof if you want to think of it like that.
Also to the person asking about the VGA or Component for the 360, after the Spring Update, the VGA connector is now superior to the Component...
okay please excuse my picture skills...they suck. Any advice would be helpful. anyways the first 2 pictures are SD and the last 2 are of OCC on Discovery HD. I haven't fine tuned the settings for my cable box yet. But i've set the Explorer 3250HD box to output @ 720P through DVI connected to...
No dead pixels with mine. arrived this past friday 5/11; just got my HD cable box today, i'll snap some picts later tonight, and post'em tomorrow. i still need to get the settings right. any suggestions are welcome.
right now I have it connected:
DVI-1 : HD cable box w/ no HDCP...
Thanks for the compliments, yes it's the 37", I just haven't taken off that sticker yet. I have Time Warner Cable, and since these monitors don't have a tuner you can use the cable box provided by them to output the cable signal with the usual outputs( Component, DVI, HDMI ) for HD things. the...
Still working on getting some better pictures...hope these work at least for now. I'm getting my cable box tomorrow so I'll try to post some pictures when I get some TV shots.
Before I got it in it's final spot, aka right out of the box.
Now in it's final spot
Got my Westy in yesterday! Man is this sucker hugeee! Firmware ver. 1.8 with no dead pixels! I'm in love! I'm going to go pick up my HD cable box on monday so i'll be able to report on how the SD/HD TV stuff looks. But for now my computer and 360 are lovin' this new display! Okay now back to...
I own the VX32L and use it as a computer monitor, TV, and for my 360.
As a computer monitor it's not too bad. Wish the resolution was better, but hey for the price I paid it's not that bad.
As for the 360, games and everything look good.
As a TV, it's good. SD if as good as any LCD can...
Thank you for the replies! I will have to try the latest driver on a thumb drive since I do not have a Floppy.
But I believe i had this same problem with XP also. Would try to install it on the SATA drive and would get the same thing. I will get on that and let ya'll know what happens...
I don't know whether it's a MoBO problem or what. I have a Asus A8N32-SLI Delux motherboard and Vista recognizes the harddrive and will start the install on the SATA harddrive, but when it does the first reboot after expanding the files it just comes up with a blank screen. I have 4...
I so want to pull the trigger on this monitor. i found it at Plasmabay.com for $1074.75 to my door. I will have this monitor at some point, Christmas is just around the corner. It'll be a nice upgrade from my 22" Westy :D
if you look in the manual it says it supports through component 480i/p, 576i/p, 720p, & 1080i natively. nothing about 1080p. i don't have a 360 at the moment to test 1080p resolution to see what happens tho.
from personally owning a Westinghouse LCM-22w2 i can say i absolutely love this display. I've had no problems with it what-so-ever. *knock on wood* I'd say go for it! plus it has all the extra hookups, component, composite, s-video, D-Sub, DVI.
supports 1080i over component so a 360 looks...
Last night after playin' Halo2 through composite (borrowing an Original XBox) on my Westinghouse LCM-22w2 and when i got done i switched the input back to DVI and as soon as i touched the monitor it freaked out and turned off. I couldn't turn it back on no matter what buttons i pressed. So i...
