Amazon Sucks at Running Whole Foods

I'm one of those shoppers who goes to multiple grocery stores depending on what I need and I'm finding myself less and less likely to go to Whole Foods since the Amazon purchase. I really only shopped at Whole Foods for their selection of local produce, local meats and local eggs/milk. However...

PUBG Creator Says Games Need “Better Protection” from Copycat Titles

Haha... maybe if they released this as full/complete game instead of the "Early Access" bullshit, this wouldn't have been such an issue.

PC Perspective Radeon Vega Frontier Edition Live Benchmarking - 4:30PM CDT

I'm starting to wonder if they ran into issues and made a major revision or fix - outside of an HBM2 delay. Which could mean Vega FE is them offloading this old revision, as Raja in his Reddit AMA stated RX Vega would be "way faster" than Vega FE.

Former Engadget and Verge Chief Trashes the New iPad Pro

The iPad is not a laptop, Apple may have advertised it as being more powerful then some laptops and able to do the majority if not all of what a lot of laptop users use their computers for. But for a technologist to think and review the iPad as a laptop replacement just seems ridiculous to me.

Inside the Next Xbox: Project Scorpio Tech Revealed

They're definitely at a great disadvantage due to the available games and exclusives to PS4 - however, they have an advantage in the ease at which developers can put out a game for both Windows 10 and Xbox One now. Even some of those buy once games on Windows Store would seem more appealing...

Xbox Scorpio Spec Leak: ESRAM Gone, GPU Features Revealed

I think the problem with that reasoning lies in the adoption rate of 4K TVs and 4K/HDR content.

OK, This One is on Me

Ugh, made that mistake a couple months ago, don't care to admit how expensive it was. Now I have a cheap coccyx orthopedic foam seat cushion on it, which just constantly reminds me how I could have put this damn cushion on any chair for essentially the same result.

Ronda Rousey Played WoW With Vin Diesel

Haha, that is cool and not really surprising, still cool to hear. I honestly think one night I was playing Overwatch with Paul Rudd, voice sounded exactly like him, his demeanor sounded exactly the same and he was hilarious. Tried to add him to my friends list afterwards as he was a pretty good...

Elon Musk Blasts Critical Coverage of Self-Driving Cars: 'You're Killing People'

It's actually sound logic, even if it's slightly drama-queen esque. If sensationalist journalism is dissuading people from using cars with autonomous safety features which are far more likely, statistically speaking, to not get in an accident, prevent an accident or limit the severity of an...

CIA Prepping For Possible Cyber Strike Against Russia

To me this reeks of war propaganda, the beating of the drums of war, coalescing public opinion in support of our new enemy. It's all ridiculous and incredibly disheartening to see the state of this country, I do blame most people for their ignorance, but at the same time - very few have the time...

iPhone 7 Devices Hissing While Under Heavy Load

Which if the case for a small subset of chips with varying yield qualities - a simple software fix could start throttling a degree or two sooner and resolve the issue. Not sure I understand the disdain for Apple here though, to each his own I guess.

The Age of Apple is Over

This, exactly this - end of thread. :) Apple makes a superior product in that the entire ecosystem around it generally just works and works very well (relatively speaking). Cell phones are commodities now and are quickly approaching peak-ownership. There's not a real lot to make wild innovations...

AMD Radeon RX 480 Supplies at Launch

No, I'm sorry, I don't follow your logic - but that's cool, do your thing. Sounds like you're willing to spend $458 or more now or when Vega launches (same amount of money going to AMD). If you're an enthusiast, you understand release cycles and if you've been following Vega and Polaris - you...

AMD Radeon RX 480 Supplies at Launch

Though I would think, if you know what Vega is at all, you know the difference between Polaris and Vega - including the understanding these are different price points, different market segments entirely. Unless I'm misunderstanding something fundamental here.

AMD Exposes More Weakness At E3

I absolutely agree with your sentiments. Further, I have high hopes of AMD making a gradual come-back, or rather, a steady climb in market-share. As the mid-end range seems to be the large majority of purchases and on top of that, they are in the major consoles.... that alone I would think would...

Overwatch Is Blizzard’s Biggest Open Beta Ever

I enjoyed the time I played during the open-beta. Certainly after 2-4 hours of play time, playing alone, it was getting boring. Though after a few friends started as well, playing as a group with some strategy to class-selection and play tactics yielded a far more exciting game - one which I...

    HTC Vive VR Kit Review

DOOM Will Have Advanced Video Features

I tried the demo and barely made it through 2 games. The speed and mechanics just seemed slightly disconnected and slow to me. All Apple's Announcements From Its "Loop You In" Event

Agreed. Though keep in mind Apple sells an expansive experience to their users, one that no other company to which I am aware, can compete. Apple CEO Opposes Court Order To Help FBI Unlock iPhone

In effect, that's what will happen. As I understand, it is the secure enclave on the iPhone that enforces the 5-second delay between password unlock attempts. That 5 second delay is enforced at the hardware level. There's no way around that without attempting to create a backdoor - if it's even...
