AMD Radeon RX Vega GPU Specs and Pricing Revealed

Intel Market Cap = 170 billion Nvidia Market Cap = 97 billion AMD Market cap = 13 billion. Everybody expects products from AMD to beat Intel or Nvidia. The math, in this economic world shows that AMD does not have the strenght to do so. So, basically what AMD does is preety awesome. I meen to...

    Win 7 Or Win 10?

Windows update can be stopped within W10 in 10 mins of your life and google. "Microsoft spying, omg", relax, it can spy you on whatever OS they want. You don't care much about google spying us, or Mozilla etc. just because you opened Chrome, they can say where you live, what PC you have, your IP...

    AMD & NVIDIA GPU VR Performance: H3VR @ [H]

Hate can fog a persons mind and the result is Bias. If a software/game developer sells me a product, then in 99% of cases the minimum/recommended requirements are given after testing the product on that hardware. If Microsoft, i.e, releases a new OS or releases a new "Service pack update" and...

    AMD & NVIDIA GPU VR Performance: H3VR @ [H]

I own an RX 480 aswell, XFX one, no issues at all, i cant speak for VR because i dont se myself buying this tech in the near future (3-4 years imo). At the state of VR nowdays, i have to wait. But my conclusion is that, AMD does not get much love from devs. When Kyle says that "Steam VR crashed...

    AMD & NVIDIA GPU VR Performance: H3VR @ [H]

Developers are lazy nowdays. You cant blame the GPU manufacturer for every bug or Nonoptimization of a software.

AMD & NVIDIA GPU VR Performance: Trickster VR @ [H]

One conclusion i can draw from the VR Bench series: when coded properly, the games run well on bothe types of hardware, green or red while nVidia is pulling away with a lead.

AMD & NVIDIA GPU VR Performance: Onward Mil-Sim @ [H]

The current VR benchmarks shows that Developers share more love for team green. It is obvious. I meen, as a developer, if you dont care how crap, your crappy game works on somebody's hardware, and still release it, it shows how much interest you put into development and how much interest you put...

AMD & NVIDIA GPU VR Performance: Island 359 @ [H]

The only "bad" thing that i can see from all the VR reviews here, is that the FuryX is so far behind the 980Ti. I dont expect the RX480 to be "premium VR", neither the 1060 6GB, but the FuryX is in a different league and should handle VR better than the 480. One explenation i can find is that...

AMD & NVIDIA GPU VR Performance in Trials on Tatooine @ [H]

I am not into VR yet, i am on my Intel Ivy Bridge Graphics at the moment and i can run my favorite games on low (Starcraft 2 and Heroes of The Storm) (probably i am going to get the Rx470 on black friday) I just wanted to say, that i dont like the War between Nvidia and AMD right now, it is...

    New Titan X announced, 12GB GDDR5X, $1200

There will be a 1080ti only if AMD is going to release a close competitor to the Titan X. Oh wait, they have the Fury X, WTF is with the naming scheme. BTW the "new" Titan X is going to sell only on nvidia.com (founders edition only).

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Founders Edition Preview @ [H]

Review OK, Card decent, price is nVidia specific. But i have to say that "H" should make corrections to the Title of the review and it should look like the FuryX's: "GTX 1070 PAPER LAUNCH" :), just to be fair and square :)

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Founders Edition Review @ [H]

GTX 1080 has an 70% increased clock speed over the FuryX GTX 1080 has an 30-35% increased clock speed over the 980ti. Let the GHZ war begin ont he GPU side aswell! Anyway, Pascal only brings higher clocks and lower TDP, thats it. They had to increase the clocks, otherwise we would have a 980ti...

MSI GeForce GTX 980 Ti LIGHTNING Video Card Review @ [H]

What is fantastic about the 980ti and Maxwell, is the ability to OC like crazy. Really, 1,4GHZ or 1,5GHZ on a GPU is crazy. What i havent found on the "interweb" is a clock for clock benchmark between Fiji and Maxwell. At this moment, AMD is really gimped by the low OC capabilities of Fiji...

    ASUS STRIX Radeon R9 Fury DC3 CrossFire at 4K Review @ [H]

I dont get the stuttering in the 3 games. Why are they so bad? Since AMD is not using Xfire bridges anymore, and Xfire is run trough PCIe, can the problem be on the mobo chipset side? I know that benchmarking requires the best platform for the test, but could you try to see if the stuttering is...

    XFX R9 390 Double Dissipation 8GB Video Card Review @ [H]

Last time i checked MSI>XFX. And yes, i agree with you 43W extra means more heat and probably on the same cooler the 390 would be a bit warmer. But, the dude that i quoted, didnt even bother to read the article and started the same trash against AMD like the majority of nVidia fanboys. "AMD...

AMD, Roy Taylor, the Nano, and the Press @ [H]

Again, the power consumption debacle. I wont start this polemic, but it is a false issue. For example, the AMD A8 5500 has 65W TDP and does office jobs more than decently. And dont tell me that the 10W difference to an i3 is so huge. Anyway, ill stop here because we wont get anyware

AMD, Roy Taylor, the Nano, and the Press @ [H]

I am giving you as example the CPU market. Go to every public institution and you will notice that every PC has an Intel CPU with intel HD Graphics. Why is this? Intel has so much money that they PAY, yes they pay, OEMs to use their CPUs (DELL, Fujitsu, HP, all of them use Intel, even if the...

AMD, Roy Taylor, the Nano, and the Press @ [H]

I didnt expect anything else from Kyle than purchasing a Nano for the review. Great job. About MS buying AMD, i dont know what to say Supermodelthriller, it would be good i think. For AMD to rise again from the ashes they need ALOT of money to be put in development and research, money witch AMD...

AMD, Roy Taylor, the Nano, and the Press @ [H]

I am new to this forum and joined at the last "furygate". I have to say that i like some tests that these guys do, but the attitude is a bit off. In example, in every 980ti review, starting with the stock ending with the Asus 980ti the conclusion drawn is "how bad the FuryX" is compared to them...

ASUS GTX 980 Ti STRIX DCIII OC Video Card Review @ [H]

i have stopped reading 4K results after your Witcher 3 wild hunt test where you concluded that you need a 1000$ card to get the most out of the game @ 4K. Also, you concluded in ather reviews aswell that the currnt 980Ti and FuryX (witch are top tier cards) are not enaugh for 4k gaming in a...

ASUS GTX 980 Ti STRIX DCIII OC Video Card Review @ [H]

while we know how a reference 980Ti is better than the FuryX, i would want to know the differences in performance between different 980Ti's. The comparison to the FuryX is irelevant now.

AMD Radeon R9 Nano Video Card PAPER Launch @ [H]

As some people said here, the TitanX does not offer a 350$ performance premium over the 980Ti and it still costs 999$. The TitanX offer premium for those who can afford it. Nvidia is making money like this, AMD is following up.

The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt Gameplay Performance Review @ [H]

And about the test methods (this concearns all reviewers not just hardocp), everything is done in ideal conditions. 21-22 degrees room temperature, open benches... Real world scenarios are different. While this way you can maximise performance, in a closed case, 23-25 degrees room temperature...

The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt Gameplay Performance Review @ [H]

Now this was a nice read. I still think that the FuryX makes up that 10% in performance compared to the 98ti with its watter cooler. Look at the Asus Poseidon 980ti, it costs 725$ and you need to buy a radiator/pump for it. SO, i still think that the r9 Fury has the right price imho.

GIGABYTE GTX 980 Ti G1 GAMING Video Card Review @ [H]

"the G1 OC "destroys (omg) the Radeon FuryX, so the fury should cost 490$ to be competitive". On that logic, why the TitanX sould cost 1000$? The G1 beats the stock Titan to. And dont give me the same crap "the Titan is a workstation card and has 12 GB Ram" the extra 6GB wont cut the 400$...

    AMD Radeon R9 Fury X 4K Video Card Review @ [H]

Hello Hard forum, i am posting here for the first time. What i see here is huge "hate" against AMD, sorry but that is my feeling. First, the weird decision to post results with cards having different game setings (there can be a chart of theese things, but for the normal user this wont help...
