The biggest issue I have is that it's not available! The Node 202 is not on the market despite having been reviewed by most of the PC websites months ago.
I didn't like the windowed version at all, but once I saw the "black" version, I was impressed.

It's even $10.00 cheaper than the windowed version. And at $69.99...
I agree completely. The X2 is a big clunker of a case for mini ITX, and the MI2 is too limited. The amount of extra work required to do a full custom build vs. a build off a bare bones is so small that I don't see a reason to ever use one of these.
I don't know if it's because I'm an old fart, or what, but all the loud colors and bright lighting effects of the ROG line is bothering me more and more. I'll pay for a premium product with top of the line performance, but I don't want to pay extra for useless lighting, etc. that do nothing to...
I build a new PC about every two years, while my friend is still using his Q6700 from about '08. All he's done is upgrade his video card, and re-install / upgrade his operating system a couple times, and his seven year old system works great for moderate gaming.
I like to build and tinker, but...
It's not clear if this was being thrown with any kind of profit motive. If not, than this lawsuit would be the same as me getting sued for having a Green Bay Packer themed party at my house to watch the game with my friends and family.
Even the FTZ01B?

Then the Fractal Design Node 202 should fit your needs. http://www.fractal-design.com/home/product/cases/node-series/node-202
I agree. At this point I'd start looking for components that meet your needs that go on sale. For example, I was able to get a Seasonic Platinum rated power supply for less than the gold rated one I had been planning to buy for my build.
Some flexibility now may save you money, or get you...
I really hope Zen is a game changer. AMD needs a win right now to survive. Intel has gotten so complacent and lazy without effective competition. If AMD doesn't shake things up, it looks like sandy bridge will be running strong another five years.
However, AMD has had generation after...
Can you answer a couple questions? What do you do with your computer? If you use it for gaming, what games do you play? Finally, what's your current system?
I mostly play RTS and turn based strategy games. So my system (listed below) is already overkill. Upgrading to a GTX 980 Ti wouldn't make...
Apple doesn't have a clue without Steve Jobs. And a big part of that is because Jobs was such a control freak and egomaniac that he surrounded himself with yes men that couldn't take a sh*# without his permission.
I'm building an HTPC to replace the first gen i5 computer that has the job now.
I have everything needed, but the build is on hold because I'm not happy with the Silverstone Raven RZ01 case that I bought. I'd like something that fits better with my living room AV equipment.
An additional...
1. Yes.
2. Yes.
Of the two options, a pre-installed liquid cooler is the preferred option. I'd be willing to pay a reasonable premium to have a OEM water cooling option.
It's like Intel vs. AMD. I want both to be great! There is room for both to tell great stories, and the hope is that competition will only make both of them better.
Buddy is much more than a "smart" pet rock!
He's an easy way to spend $700 for the base robot, plus another $325 for things like Buddy's docking station and arms. That's right, $700 doesn't get you that stuff. Oh, and shipping is not included.
Oh no, I play violent video games, I own guns, AND I voice frustration about our government. I'm a ticking time bomb!!!
Of course I'm a white male, so everyone already knew that I'm sexist and racist. ;)
On the Ashes forum boards the developers have said that Nvidia's drivers are immature for DX12, and that Nvidia cards will do better under DX11 at this point. Playing with the benchmark, I'm seeing a noticible improvement if I play on DX11.
When the Fractal Design Node 202 is actually available, it will be my first choice for a living room PC. That thing is dead sexy!
I've got a half built rig in a Silverstone Raven rvz01, and I've stuck it in a closet until I can get my hands on the Node 202.
Lian-Li makes some of the custom cases for a few of the high end builders, and they have a few good cases. But yea, some of their design choices make you wonder what they were thinking. My last build on a Lian-Li was a full tower with front filters that couldn't be removed without unscrewing...
I have my secondary build in an Fractal Design R4, and based on that case, I'm sold on Fractal Design. The fit, finish, and overall quality of the case surprised me for the cost. It was something I hadn't experienced since my last build on a Lian-Li case, and a like case from them would cost at...
If stock is kept very low, then no, there will never be allot of extras sitting around. I also think that as better drivers are released and or better performance under DX12 is released via the press, waves of interest will keep already low stocks at zero.
That's not to say that any of this is...
Personal request: please stay on topic. You have an endless number of places to discuss your political views. This is not one of those places. Thank you.
My Facebook account is as boring as I can make it. I don't post pictures, I don't post when I'm going to be out of town, and I don't say anything about my religion or politics.
Anything posted on the internet is forever. Just figure that anything you post is going to be seen by your mother...
I'm an Ashes Founder, and I own a GTX 980, and a R9 290. The game looks great. If you like RTS with big battles and low amounts of micro, than this looks like it will be a fantastic game.
That's what I'm looking at, how the game looks and plays on my hardware. If my experience is great, I don't...
Going up against the IRS? The only people who win when the IRS are involved are the wealthy and the politically connected.
So yea.... just like everything else.
