I agree completely. The X2 is a big clunker of a case for mini ITX, and the MI2 is too limited. The amount of extra work required to do a full custom build vs. a build off a bare bones is so small that I don't see a reason to ever use one of these.

Buddy is much more than a "smart" pet rock! He's an easy way to spend $700 for the base robot, plus another $325 for things like Buddy's docking station and arms. That's right, $700 doesn't get you that stuff. Oh, and shipping is not included.

The i7 and i5 k parts were the only 6th gen processors released till now. This is the rest of the chips in the line. i3, mobile, Celeron etc.

I'd also look at the Fractal Design R5. It is commonly available for $99.00, and is an excellent case as well.

On the Ashes forum boards the developers have said that Nvidia's drivers are immature for DX12, and that Nvidia cards will do better under DX11 at this point. Playing with the benchmark, I'm seeing a noticible improvement if I play on DX11.
