Or you are not buying this monitor just for games.
4K resolution is awesome for those who want to see high resolution images (my case)
But I will try Battlefied 4 and Skyrim when the monitor arrives :) , even if I need to adjust resolution x game quality, high instead of ultra may be enough...
As far as I can see, color depth seems to have a lot to do with color gamut, but of course I know they are not the same thing.
Follow me here, lets take a look at the specs
P2715Q: CIE1976 (103%) and CIE1931 (77%) and 1.07 billion colors (color depth)
U2413: CIE1976 (120%) and CIE1931 (103%)...
Not dumb at all.
Dell might launch bigger (30 inch and bigger) ultrasharp models, as the UP2715K is "only" 27 inch.
Until now only Ultrasharp series can have wide gamut (Premier Color) Panels, but these new 2 P series (P2415Q and P2715Q) are listed as 1.07 billion colors (8 bit + FRC panel?)...
Nice to hear Windows scaling is no issue.
You got the 24 or the 27 inch model? Would anyone notice PPI difference from 24" to 27" models?
Could you try lower resolutions to see if it is possible to play games with a higher frame rate at full screen? My Asus GTX 770 would appreciate :)
Thanks for the reply.
That (and all the bugs I read about) is why I am not interested in the UP2414Q. I will wait for the new 2 model be available here then.
I ordered a U2715H before I saw the 2 new 4k models. The day after ordering I called Dell and asked them to replace the monitor model.
My order is now waiting for me to choose but these 2 new models are not available here in Brazil yet.
UP2414Q is available here in Brazil, but it is not...
