I can but i'm a little away from fitment yet as waiting for more parts
Probably switch to DDC and see if I can keep it internal as well as keeping the dual rads.
Masked around, cut out thick card to emulate ram and stuffed it in the slots to protect the pins and the sprayed away. Had to touch up with a paintbrush after (just sprayed into a container then used a detail paintbrush) There's nothing special about the paint at all, standard all purpose primer...
Not cheap for me, maybe because our exchange rate is so bad (AUD). its 5380TWD, you can assess how expensive that is or not for you. Yes direct from Bitspower.
Sorry guys, perhaps i'm chiming in a bit late here.
I modified the AMD mount with my Kelvin S24 to fit on my X99e-ITX
I also painted the RAM slots and heatsinks
Also not sure if mentioned before, but Bitspower have released a Full Cover Block for the ASRock X99E-ITX. Apparently I...
well you could of course, by why put something in that is near unusable?
As i'll be running 4 fans plus the pump ill have to split it somewhere anyway, I just thought worth mentioning.
Ok been running this board for a while.
One gripe I have is this.
The fan header behind the PCIE slot. Because its X99, you will always have a GPU populated. If you have a fan on that header, the GPU PCB basically crushes it in there.
Removing a GPU from the NCASE which doesnt really fit to...
Just a little update i've been running X99 NCASE like this for a while, trying to figure out what to do re: watercooling.
Finally some solutions are starting to come to light. I swapped the H100i for a Fractal Design Kelvin S24, and to get around the woes of the STRIX 980 I got an...
No sweat, i see you've been posting some comments? I'll be sure to do my best to oblige.
As stated above my 5820k temps are behaving the same as my delidded 4790k. The 4790k @ 1.3v and 4.9ghz was peaking in the low to mid 70degrees with the H100i.
The 5820k is @ 1.3v and 4.4ghz on all 6...
Ah look,
It was always a projects and it wont get used to its full potential and isnt the most financially recommended but...
Originally I wanted a Shuttle X79 board which was custom, it was DTX and I was going to mod it to fit, only when I exhausted all options and couldn't locate one did I...
Mmm i could be in real trouble, I didnt realize the 5820k can draw so much power.
Bit-Tech tested a 5820k @ 4.3ghz and its drawing 340w. Im @ 4.4ghz currently. Fine with the 980 but a 980Ti or 390X and I think i'll be in real trouble.
Not sure if this is against CoC. Apologies if it is.
I made this YouTube video about fitting the H100i to the ASRock X99E-ITX/ac.
https://youtu.be/kLVST4dGjE0
Mmmm unfortunately the 980Ti is $1000AUD at launch. That's a lot of cash.
I'm still really hoping for a dual GPU card, and with the 700w SFX-L PSU being announced the 295x2 or its successor might be an option.
Wait and see for now...
This 980Strix clocks well (1518mhz) on air so under...
It's the Corsair H100i.
The Asus Strix GTX980 DOES NOT fit in the NCASE with its cooler because of the heat pipe as mentioned above. I'm watercooling and there is 1 block (the Alphacool GPX) which retains a normal profile so it could be used.
However...
I plan on driving a 1440p ultrawide...
So this is a
Intel 5820k
Asrock X99E-ITX/AC
And a GTX980 Strix
Samsung SM951 SSD
Silverstone SX600-G
To say it's tight is an understatement...
Pictures incoming (bad photos from phone)
Sorry this may have been stated elsewhere but EKWB do a slim ILM mounting block for their CPU blocks.

I know the Strix cards typically don't fit but the Asus 970 Strix just does as someone else posted, I have the Asus 980 Strix and its slightly thinner than the Asus 970 Strix so it should fit on air just fine though I have to remove one retention clip.
EK got back to me saying that height of...
nope a much easier way, i'll explain underneath
Keep what black? Sorry I dont understand.
So, I cant take the credit for this as I saw someone else do it but its really very simple.
Go to this site and it lets you create a grid paper to your specifications...
Your absolutely most likely right, and I would by no means think if it where to fit, it would just bolt in. But equipped with some cardboard templates, miracles can happen. Hell, I managed to watercool a SG33G5 with Q9550 and dual slot 750Ti FTW. Its unlikely, and maybe impossible, but worth...
Waaaaaaaaait, wait wait wait,
Are you saying we could fit an mATX board in here, and if using the first 3 slots (single slot) potentially fit dual GPU's in here?
