I just retired my 9 year old X-750 this January with a Seasonic 750w Prime. Never had an issue when ran my OC i7 Sandy Bridge or my OC i7 Skylake either with the various video cards (from Radeon 5950 to GeForce 1080ti) through the years. Never thought it would have lasted that long that is for sure.
I believe this will run Windows 10 on ARM just like they showcase the HP and Acer (or was it Asus?) 2 in 1 devices. Add continuum to this and you have a game changer.
I actually prefer Windows Mobile over Android, sadly just that there was no app on that platform. If only they didn't botch it up it would have been an interesting market with 3 mobile OSes.
Fornite had cross play between the Xbox One and PS4 for like a few hours before being disabled. It was the talk of the net for a while since it seems to be an easy thing to do.
Only watch the first one and only because someone invited me. Otherwise I would not see a single one of these Transformer movies. FYI I hated the first one.
On the other hand if George Miller makes one, I would go out to see it.
Depends, on what you are planning to do with it. I still have a 2600K @ 4.5 Ghz and I still don't feel the need to upgrade.
Yes I do lose some of the newer features, but so far I haven't run into anything that requires me to upgrade my PC.
I'm not going to lie, the SP4 I have has impressed me so far. Yes they are a few bugs here and there but they are getting solved bit by bit. Just make sure your set yours to hibernate rather than sleep.
But really it has replaced my laptop.
So far I been happy with my Pro 4. There is a bit of light bleed on the bottom which I mainly notice during boot up but not under normal use. I have the screen set at 50% brightness which is pretty bright.
Overall a good laptop replacement compared to my old Lenovo Y580.
And the first review is in and it got an editor choice award to boot.

I'm probably one of the few people which the game is running just fine. Installed these drivers for my stock R9 290 and the game runs decently. Sadly wished there was some higher setting than "Normal" for textures.
Anyway haven't run into any issues with AMD drivers in a pretty long time.
Hopefully this is the upgrade I been looking for my i7-2600k. Been serving me well for the last 4 years. Just waiting for a good Gigabyte board to go along with Skylake if it lives up to its performance.
Still using a 2600K on a Z67 board. Hell, I don't even remember when I bought it. Probably a few months after it came out and I won't be changing it soon either.
Currently it's running a R9 290 and doing a pretty damn good job at it. You'll be fine for maybe the next year or two with it.
I...
I do wonder what are the apps people keep looking for. To tell you the truth the only app I miss from my switch to android is Comixology, but that's not a deal breaker for me.
There an interesting story about the Pebble. Microsoft actually made an app for it and was willing to support the app themselves and a few other things like selling the watch at Microsoft Store. Sadly the CEO of Pebble killed it.
Here the link to the whole Pebble incident. Interesting enough...
You can buy a PC from a Microsoft Store and its basically had zero bloatware (unless you call MS antivirus program bloatware).
But really all manufacturers should at least offer a pc with zero bloatware.
I'll also recommend the Cougar CFD 120mm and/or Cougar Vortex HBD. I have a push/pull on my XSPC AX360 and its much quieter than the 3 Cooler Master Sickleflow I used to use.
I'll also recommend using a fan shroud to improve cooling performance.
Really worth it. I managed to cool my MSI Radeon HD 7950 from 90c on air to ~45c (or lower depending on game) on water.
Not to mention that now my pc doesn't sound like a freaking jet engine during take off.
Now I have to find a water block for my Radeon R9 290. It really needs one, big time.
All it would be best to go all copper and do try not to get aluminum in the loop.
Also you can try to look at universal block for your video card, just remember to buy heatsinks for the memory and vrm.
While the Geforce GTX 970 tickles my fancy, I'll be seating this one out since I just bought water blocks for my Radeon 7950s.
Also I tend to skip a video card generation and buy the old model used on ebay.
Its only a matter of time before people complain about this one for some silly reason. Either, if its true that Windows 8 user can upgrade for free then I'll be getting it.
Mind you, I didn't have much of an issue with Windows 9.1 with a keyboard and mouse.
Wished I knew about these before, would keep cost down when upgrading the video cards. But does EK still have that issue with if the nickel plating still flaking off?
I switch from my android phone I been using for 3 years (yes on the same phone for 3 years) to a Lumia 1520 and I really like WP 8.1.
Its fast and easy to use. The only app I'm really missing from my android is Comixology, but oh well. There several good third party apps for other stuff like...
I have to say, this 2600k I'm still using, does the trick. I don't even need to upgrade the motherboard either (Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3).
And to think I was looking forward to AMD Bulldozer and just couldn't wait no longer.
All I get is 7 Mbps Verizon DSL for 45 bucks a month, which by the way is the highest I can get on DSL. Its either that or TWC. I can't get FIOS since the landlord has a contract with TWC and hasn't approved Verizon to bring in the fiber. Hell I would glad if I had the option of RCN.
To add...
Yes since the original coolers were pretty bad and noisy as hell on top of that. Lowering it power limit caused it to not run as hot.
The cards usually topped out at 90 Celsius before I water cooled it.
These are the cards I use. Just a single noisy fan.
Remount the CPU block. I had something similar happen to me on my GPU block. Once I remounted it, it went from 80+ Celsius to 40-45 Celsius on my custom loop.
Basically I have that same processor so you should be getting around 40s or so.
