NCASE M1 version changelog and suggestions thread

Hmm. The 28mm was a guess on my part looking at a diagram, I just found the spec for the plexi version of the terminal for the block and that states 25mm.. 25mm + 111mm plus 3mm for the window = 139mm so it might just scrape in lol Edit: Confirmed it manually measuring the block I had in it's...

NCASE M1 version changelog and suggestions thread

It looks like the block extends about 28mm past the top edge of the card, 29.7mm with the included cover that I don't plan on using.

I've already ordered a tempered glass window so it might be a bit late to ask.. I plan to build with a reference pcb 1080ti with an EK waterblock on it, do you think this will this fit with the window I ordered?

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

You should look at the cougar fans, I remember seeing testing that showed it to be competitive with the ap 15s but nicer sounding iirc, comes in a 1500rpm pwm version. edit: link www.thekoolroom.com/product/cougar-cf-v12hpb/

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Same here with both mine and my mates. If you put two rubber inserts in the case holes and use the normal mount for the other two it works pretty well. Wish we had 3 complete sets though.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

For the HDD I used the stock mounting method provided with the M1, which does use rubber spacers. I want to suck the hot air directly out the back of the case, so I'd rather have the tower cooler. Also this way I can have one good high pressure 120mm intake fan with a filter supplying air to...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I was planning to go custom wc with a R9 290, but i've discovered that vibration is a bit of an issue for me in the M1. As a test i've put a 1TB 3.5 inch drive in the bottom as I was planning to, and there is easily enough hum to annoy me. Having a pump sitting down there without much padding...

Should have checked ocau hydro, I replied you can get them from thekoolroom.com 2hrs before you posted that you'd ordered overseas. Oh and I should probably mention in here that both me and my housemate got our M1's today (south australia), mine's 594. Might see if I can borrow a camera so I...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Why do people keep saying they don't know where to put a pump? I guess it's understandable if you aren't going to be putting a waterblock on the gpu, but if you are it should easily fit under the card behind the front panel. You can probably even still put a 3.5" drive next to it.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

iirc you can fit a 92mm fan under a dual slot video card in the M1, I was thinking if the videocard is effectively 1 slot with a waterblock on it you could mount a stock ddc where the 92mm fan would go.

I wonder how many of the cases are going to Australia.. I only know of 3 so far. Would be awesome to know how rare it ends up being over here.

Noticed something today.. the ASUS H81M-E (pic) Is only 226mm x 175mm.. might possibly fit? Main drawback is only rear USB3, USB2 front panel.
