DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

I'm also questioning both of these changes. I'd rather have the ability to replace the standoffs, since they're not hard to screw back in if they come out accidentally. And removing the inner HDD mount holes makes it quite a bit harder to mount thick 2.5" drives; you're currently able to remove...

What size nuts/bolts did you use to attach the hifi feet?

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

My A4 was delivered today! (SF) Tracking finally updated about 5am this morning saying the local post office received the parcel from DHL. Just another data point... now, guess I can't put off deciding on a cooler much longer.

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

San Francisco here, and still no word from USPS or DHL since Frankfurt. The trend seems to be moving steadily westward, so hopefully my A4 will make a surprise appearance in the next couple days...

    Before asking NCASE about Micro-ATX...

I also like the fractal-esque design on this page, but I think it looks a bit generic--there's not much to set it apart visually from the hordes of other cases on the market. I think the trapezoidal inset from the M1 could work well with the high position of the IO/ODD on this design, which...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I'm using a CM Glacer 240L (basically a Cooler Master-rebranded H220) and I've routed the tubes around the edge of the fan frames. I'll try to get some pictures this weekend.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

#316 arrived in SF on Monday! No updates until it went out for delivery. The box was damaged, but the case itself is in great condition. Now just waiting for parts...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

My case is listed on Despatch #25, but I haven't received any updates from either USPS or iPost (the USPS tracking number is archived). Should I be worried? Did other people on Despatch #25 get updated iPost information when the ship landed?

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I am part of #25 and am still waiting for my M1 in San Francisco. I am hoping it shows up in the next couple of days...

I'd be interested in the Blu-ray drive as well.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Certainly, but there are currently only two SFX units that are rated at enough power to support high-end hardware, both from Silverstone. While these units will provide enough power to run a CPU and high-end graphics card, they aren't above the "recommended" levels for most of that hardware; I...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

FWIW, I think adding 20mm to the height of the case is worth it if it means adding more ATX PSU options. Even if SFX is more appropriate to highly optimized SFF builds the M1 was designed for, ATX is more familiar to builders (like me) who don't have as much experience with the smallest SFF...
