Yah that was our thinking too.
Essentially we would have the mount bays and support for M.2 drives instead of sata drives, and include a sata adapter (which can be replaced with something more modern later, when it comes out) purely as a space saving concern.
In addition, M.2 will be mainstream...
Hey everyone.
Apologies to the mods if this is in the wrong place.
What does everyone think of using only M2 drives in a PC?
Is this something people would do? Would you buy a PC chassis with only M2 slots/bays? Say, 4?
Yes, we fully agree. We are going for something that is very high end water cooling, very quiet, with minimal extra parts to get it all going. Really all that you would ideally need is a your standard PC parts and a CPU waterblock with some tubing. Optionally a full coverage GPU block if you...
We arent looking for feedback on the design at the moment, just whether or not to include any/all of the listed parts.
We could probably widen a few holes for the radiator inlets to allow any 180mm radiator, but we are still locked into a specific pump with our current design iteration.
The...
Final design will depend on feedback, which could change layout drastically.
No pics yet - especially considering that once the ncase came out people are copying it in droves.
There is not enough talent or design skill in the case market at the moment, which is why ncere and co shook up the...
Hi everyone!
For the past 2 years we have been working on a custom small form factor case with integrated liquid cooling.
Recently, our supplier backed out of supporting us during our initial media sample run (for reviewers) and the deal never went through. We had spent 8 months working on...
Yes, it sounds fishy to us.
We spent 8 months building a product based on the Epic 180 and they dropped their support for us on our first media sample run. No indication it was coming. We spent a lot of time and money on this.
It looks like initially we wont be able to sell a 180mm sealed loop...
Hey guys.
Some unfortunate news. Our supplier, Coolit, have decided to devote their business to the Server market instead and have backed out of supplying us the units we were going to use.
We have the money and business for them, but it seems they just don't want it.
We are looking into...
The ones we have don't have the bracket.
EDIT: You would mount it on a 180mm fan bracket like a 180mm fan.
Currently we are testing a prototype that uses the same radiator and similar block/pumps - thermal testing was completed a few days ago with extremely favorable results.
One...
Oh, it's gonna happen. I have finalized the costings and margins recently and their NDA for specifications/etc.
Currently waiting on final prototype revisions of our case (which will use this cooler as its core) and we will begin selling asap.
The delays have been a lot longer than I would...
Yup, next prototype will hopefully be the last revision, then we have 4 pre-production models coming to send out for the first round of reviews (case and cooler combo).
Reviewers already organized, they have seen pics of the case and are chomping at the bit for it.
We are pushing as hard as we can. Prototypes are coming out of our ears at the moment.
I want to have something on the market in a month or two hopefully. The only real holdups are pricing (and reducing the suppliers pricing) and our Estore platform.
Being australian based it makes things...
Fits all GPU's. Original block fit everything except the 560ti style chips (weird tiny rectangles) but we have changed blocks so they should fit too (new prototype being built atm).
No marketing yet. Everything we have done has been a back to basics style design. Lots of questioning on why...
Its a product sold under the Endoframe Brand (hopefully) soon.
Its not the Stock EPIC 180, but the same OEM. We are working with them to finalize the design.
Including shipping, tax, customs duty, packaging (I have to buy the boxes to pack it in unfortunately) and the token profit to class it as a business expenditure, it would be about $275 AUD at the moment, with the price rapidly dropping if we can order more at a time.
Bear in mind this is a...
Marketing shows there is no call for 180mm sealed loop coolers but I personally disagree, so I would like to get some hard numbers in this regard.
We will be using them in our new ITX chassis but are required to order a large amount from our OEM.
We may not necessarily be able to sell that...
We could sell them the moment our prototype gets back for $1000 USD, but thats a bit high for our liking. We are working really hard instead to bring the costs down at every point in our supply chain, from freight to manufacturing right down to the anodizing system.
A comparable system built...
We being a small startup, specializing in SFF.
Our second prototype is on the way, and should it hold up to our standards will be the production model.
Its quite unique.
A 180mm liquid cooled itx case is the first of our lineup, with a MATX case to follow. Still in talks with certain...
