and an MCR220-QP....
rad needs to be white
Helixes need some loving too
BOOM!!!
With comps and tubing
In case
That's all for today :D
So I do have a good update on this build!
I decided to use an Apogee Drive II after all, purely for aesthetics (for the lit logo to match my Komodo blocks and g1/4" ports insteasd of barbs), but since I already sold my previous, I sold the H220 and ordered a new APD2 and an MCR220-QP. I am...

Dunno how I missed this but here's the latest!
Is this progress?
This is just a test coat, so I can seethe high/low spots. I still need to add the trim for the HUE controls and fix a few spots but otherwise it's pretty good. The top should look like this later today :).
I still...
Hey guys! Just wanted to stop in and apologize for lack of updates as of late. I haven't abandoned this; just been busy with other irons in the fire. I recently got a '66 GMC C1000 1/2 ton longwide pickup that I've been working on and restoring. It's also my daily driver. It has a 305E big block...
Thanks bud. I thought about it, but to be honest I already have a ton of projects and need more completions than more projects lol. I'm sure you'll find someone with an amazing idea though, which will be awesome to see :D.
On that note....
New stuffs!!!!
New PSU compared to...
ALSO... I was able to talk my wife into letting me buy a new keyboard since I've been wanting this one in particular and it went on special :D. I ordered an Azio Levetron Mech5.

I've been wanting one of these for a while, after...
So it turns out fitting the PSU is a lot tighter than I initially planned on, mainly because I have to rotate it a full 180* rather than the 90* I initially planned on. But that's ok. I actually have room and resources that I'm going to recess the PSU about 3/4" forward of the front steel panel...
Thanks, me too!
Here's some more progress pics. I cut out the top and started on the top plate, but it'll have to be cut out and welded back in since it moved when I was tacking. The top panel will also be cut and fit on top of this. Once I get a template for the 360 rad and have it here for...
Guess what I did today :D
And the door in its final form before paint, being sent to me now
Also I ordered the material to make my new motherboard tray. What is it you ask?
DIAMOND PLATE. I'll have to grind down all the diamonds under the mobo to ensure no shorting out occurs, but the end...
I have a teaser of something a good friend is making for me. Mind you, this guy doesn't do these things commercially, and has no interest to do so. So if you know who it is, be kind enough not to bring it up :D
Choncho, sometimes, when you're a grown man, you tear up brand new stuff... Just...
Hey guys! There's been some heavy modifications to the plan, although it's still pretty much the same. A lot of exciting stuff is gonna go down, but it requires that I wait for the stuff to get here in a couple weeks. So other than finishing my sleeved extensions, there's not much I can do on...
That's the original size of the front Phantom panel, and yes it has been modded. It was from my previous build, called Red Rover, that was also in a Phantom case. This is my 3rd fresh build and my 3rd Phantom Full Tower case. I'm a fan! lol
Btw, Sorry there hasn't been an update more recently...
Nice! I like them, but I mainly just bought the GT500 model to use for parts on the F-100. The F-100 is sitting on the GT500 frame and will use its entire drivetrain, among other parts and mods.
Here's an obligitory pic of its progress. The entire front end is molded together, GT500 taillight...
Sorry for the lack of updates; things are moving slow since I now have another co-project, a model of a '56 Ford F-100 that I'm modding with '07 GT500 running drivetrain and misc parts, as well as some crazy stuff. It's brushing up on my plastic skills so it ties in. Speaking of which, I cut...
Another update.
First I took out the 3.5" drives so I could do some test fitting.
Unfortunately, the front fan mount protrudes to far inward, moving my PSU back too far. To remedy this, I will cut off the fan mounts and weld them back on flush with the front. There is still plenty of room for...
My overdue holiday update:
I hope everyone that celebrates had a great Christmas; over the last few days I got my sleeving stuff in and got some stuff done! :D
Here's a shot of all the stuff I got in.
I wasted no time building the first cable extension, a 6 pin PCIE.
I later found this...
New Case!!! This is my third Phantom Full Tower!
I got it in white/red for the red LEDs, since I'll be sandblasting and painting it anyway.
I believe this is revision 3.0 for the Phantom, since it has updated drive bay locks. I believe 2.0 only had a revised fan controller PCB and an added...
Thanks guys!
Not much of an update until I get some stuffs in, but I ordered the paracord and some tools today. As this thing gets moving I'll do my best to log all tools and materials I use as well.
I ordered 200' of red camo nylon 550 paracord and 50' of thin red line nylon 550 paracord from...
The Plan:
Make a Phantom go from this:
To this:
And stuff a whole lot of awesome in it.
A couple things to note about this build:
-The above pic was done in MS Paint as a reference point. The plan is to shorten the height by 6" and the length by 3.5".
The final will have 2 5.25" bays...
