Maybe that source was wrong? Not sure. But this article just came out saying that Apple may start selling unlocked iphone 5s today starting at $649, like a couple of others have said...
Yes, 60hz, means a refresh rate of 60 times per second. This would limit your maximum fps in a game to 60fps. For many people though, 60fps is plenty good. Also, if you're not using a great graphics card - you won't be able to push the fps very high anyway.
Why do you want an unactivated one though? Which carrier are you on? Depending on those things, you could possibly get an iphone 5 slightly used on ebay for $100 - $200 cheaper. The Sprint ones sell for cheap, specifically - but others you can get used for cheaper as well. In many cases you can...
Basically, no difference. Except, you may have to make a second trip to an Apple store for applecare+ like others have mentioned. Normal applecare you can buy anywhere and register it to your Apple product
You're not going to get a price much cheaper than that right now. It's not $649, it's $699.

I have a hp zr24w - a super IPS 1920 x 1200 matte display. Reading text isn't bad on it. It isn't the best, but it doesn't bother me. From what I've heard, the u2412m sounds like a great display - if it's going to cost $300 though, I'm not sure how much better it would be than that benq $150...
If you have plenty of money, you'd just buy a phone unlocked instead of starting a new contract.
And yes, there is not much of a difference. Believe me, I know the ins and outs of both models and have handled them personally. The end - user experience is not much different. That's why if I...
About $325 without any accessories. With the accessories, box, etc. you're looking at $350. If it has a bad esn, knock off $40. If it is unlocked, you can get an additional $30.
Mechanical switches work well for gaming, many people use reds or browns. (maybe blacks too I think). It basically boils down to personal preference though. Some people just don't care that much about the small tactile details, and some do. A good entry level gaming keyboard is the coolermaster...
On Geekhack, some people in the forums basically mail keyboards around to each other, just so people can test switches. Other than that, just buy one. The resale value holds quite well if you don't like the switch.
That's absolutely ridiculous. Nintendo should stop worrying about the next gimmicky feature, and focus on getting good games for its systems. At some point, the buttons and touchscreen interfaces become much less important than the game.
In general, yes. Video games are too often used as an escape from reality, when time should be spent confronting problems. That said - undepressed people who play video games once in a while are not going to get depressed from playing a couple matches of halo.
Unless you have plenty of money, I'd keep the 4s. There isn't too much difference between the two models. Get the next version that comes out if you want.
Ok, yeah - that's a good point. Backwards compatibility wasn't a big priority when Steve Jobs came back. I'd argue that that's not a customer service, or Apple support, qualm though. It has more to do with the product, and the software itself.
If rehashing is all Apple did, it wouldn't be where it is today. Is usually doesn't create "revolutionary" things, but takes ideas (like tablets, all-in-one pcs, phones, etc.), focuses on details that other companies neglect to, and makes a product that people will want to buy.
