Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Might want to chat w/ MSI customer support about that. What OS, what drivers? I'm using Windows 8, and whatever drivers Windows Update provided. Didn't install any wireless drivers from MSI download page.
It's kind of a mixed bag. Undervolting disables Cool'n'Quiet, which turns down the voltage and clock speed when the chip isn't in use. This means it actually tends to use more power at idle, unless you can get some MASSIVE undervolts.
Saves power under load, costs power when idling.
I'm...
The MSI tech I spoke to said it was a self-regulating circuit, and as such could never be controlled by the BIOS no matter the updates to the firmware.
I can't find the email now, unfortunately. Anyway, even if it's possible I doubt it would ever be added. BIOS updates are usually just to fix...
Where are you shipping to? Amazon might get a few in stock. They allow backorders, so if they are getting them in ones and twos you'll never see them listed as in stock on the webpage- I'd suggest placing an order, and then if it doesn't ship by the time ShopBLT gets em in stock, cancel when you...
Yes, I was disappointed too. Fortunately the board is doing a good job of managing my 65W APU, so I haven't really needed to tweak it. Compared to the ASRock board, it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make. :)
I don't know, but it is a 760MHz clock by default (the A10-5800K is a 800MHz clock). You'd be looking at a clock increase of nearly 35% which is pretty big.
I'd suggest if you really need maximum GPU performance, consider getting a A10-5800K and downclocking and undervolting the CPU cores to...
The Silverstone cooler:

Is actually designed with your case in mind. The idea is to vent through the PSU, and use the PSU fan as an aid. Worth considering for those who have SG05's
Got my MSI board today, it's going well. BIOS is missing a few options I had wanted, but the board is behaving much better.
By the way, be careful with that WIFI device sticking out of the back. I dinged mine up a little when I was maneuvering the board into the super-dinky case I picked...
It sold out fast, I'm glad I was able to nab one. Hoping I'm happier w/ it than my ASRock board.
I would have/should have waited on the ASRock, but it wasn't clear if anybody else would release an FM2 ITX at ALL this year. Now, I know better.
Update: things are going much better, now that I've undervolted the CPU and DRAM. Don't seem to have cost me stability, and I'm not seeing load readings above 90W, so I think I might be set.
I was figuring on getting a different board, but doing more research the FM1 Asrock was actually...
"Up to 92% Efficient"
Worst case for most PSU is around 70%, so even in the worst case the system is getting up to 77W. Next question being, what on earth is the system doing with 77W+ in the BIOS screen.
Edit: Oh, I lied, the PSU is rated for 90W. My killawatt definitely sees 110W+ at the...
Moosh, I'm having issues too. Not graphical, but power... I'm thinking they center around board power consumption, and poor boot behavior. I'm running off a 110W PSU, which ought to be MORE than enough... yet when I sit in the BIOS, power draw is 110W+ and CPU temp creeps up to about 50C. This...
