+1 for the Energy RC Micros. They sound fantastic, look great, and take up very little space.

Also play with the sub placement - I personally can't stand to have it too far to one side or the other.

This is exactly what I thought of when I saw the room layout. You might have some issues viewing the TV with the window behind it though.

If you put it to the side, make sure it's at least 18 inches above ear level. Otherwise they will be way overpowered.

I was at around 150 hours and it was becoming unplayable. Couldn't be on more than an hour without having to restart the system, and it was worse if I fast traveled a lot. Oh well, PC mods will make it so much better anyway.

Props to Samsung. The Apple craze is finally dying down somewhat (see this, their stock price, etc.), and they don't seem to be innovating anything. Just kicking the can down the road. Keep them at bay for long enough and Apple will flounder.
