If you're an intense FPS gamer, do not buy a 30". The input lag will be very noticeable, I could tell how long it took to pull out a dead ringer in TF2. If you're a BF3 sniper though, that's a whole different story.
Wiimotes work just fine with the Wii U. The gamepad acts as a central hub for some games, but other players can use Wiimotes while the first player uses the gamepad.
I remember how Wii fanboys didn't officially exist until 2009, because even admitting you liked the console got you reprimanded for pages on end. On average, it would take 3 posts for someone to say something about how bad the Wii is. Fanboyism at its finest.
