I Primarily Listen to Sirius/XM in the car. Octane or the new Turbo station. This is mainly because where I live, in Northwest Alabama there isn't much to choose from in the way of FM stations. a couple country stations, a classic rock station, a Pop station and that is about it. When I travel...
I love living in the country, however my internet speeds for the DSL is capped at 3meg (I pay 60 bucks for that too) and my cell phone downloads about the same speed on LTE and uploads around 500k. There's is no cable service here I have direct TV. I haven't even been exposed to anything faster...
I'll just wait and watch it tomorrow night on my TV. I pay for the movie channels so I don't have to be bothered with torrents, grainy video, and illegal activity. I also enjoy going to the movies to watch movies, especially at the drive in where it's 6 bucks a car load for 2 first run movies...
I've had this a very long time on the standard messaging app that is on my Note 5. It came with the 7.0 update. Marking as read also shows up on the senders phone that I read the message. Pretty much everyone I text or receive texts from use Samsung phones so it's probably a feature that we have...
I haven't noticed any slow downs, then again my phone service was never fast to start with. In fact this is about the fastest AT&T I've had in a very long time.
I still have mine. It's in the box with a Prescott on it. I still have the rounded IDE cables and sata adapters for ide drives I bought with it too. I imagine it will still post and run but it's been in the basement since I upgraded to a Core 2 system. I thought the cooling setup back then was...
I literally just upgraded my AMD 1100t build to a 7700k and a Asus STRIX Z270E Gaming Motherboard 2 days ago. Any word if this is going to be compatible with the Z270 chipset with a BIOS update? I don't feel like changing everything again and I probably wouldn't because I really like this build...
I have foam aircraft that can hit those speeds. My 4s EDF powered Squall has been on radar at 186mph. That is fast for rotor powered aircraft though. I have seen a video of a RC helicopter hitting 170 mph.
I pay for a Netflix account and have since they first started and only sent out DVD's. I have always lent out my password to a few family members who are cord cutters. They use it way more than I would ever use it. I might watch a couple movies but I do watch their original content. House of...
I'll probably have to get 2 of them. My wife uses a Note 4 and I have the Note 5. We love the size we often use the stylus for various things. We've been waiting for the next Note, unfortunately now we will be on the same upgrade cycle since my wife was supposed to get the Note 7. For the...
Samsung did the Google play edition of the S4. I would love to see them continue to do this for all their flagship devices. Until then I'll just have to wait until the next Note is released to replace my current Note 5 which on Nougat is still very capable and fast enough for everything I do.
I heard about that, but Zombie shows aren't my thing. I prefer my science fiction to be either in the Marvel Universe or Space based. I've watched some Breaking Bad on Netflix though.
I don't watch AMC. Ever. They have literally nothing for me to watch that I can't find on another channel, usually without commercials.
For old Movies TCM is better. No commercials.
I just take the kids to the drive in (they still exist). It's always a double feature and it's always new movies. Last weekend we saw beauty and the beast/ Kong skull Island. 10 bucks for a car load and bring your own snacks or buy theirs.
I Tried a Friends Vive. It was a lot of fun but I wasn't impressed with the resolution. I plan on waiting a couple of generations for refinements to be made and better resolution in the display. I think it is definitely the way things will be moving in the next 3-5 years.
I had a couple soyo boards. They were awesome back in the day. They were both slot 1s with coppermine 800mhz CPU's. I could probably find one of them downstairs. I have a dual fan alpha heatsink on it too. I know I overclocked it but I can't remember how fast it was anymore.
I had a NF7-S from Abit. I can't remember what processor I had on it but I replaced it with the IC7 Max 3 which I still have in the box in the basement. It has a Prescott on it still too.
That NF7-S was retired in 2012, the entire system with its 4600 ti was given to my dad for his office work...
We have to have satellite where I live or go without. There is no antenna reception here, mountains are in the way of the broadcast antennas which are 60 miles away. Comcast does not come out here and the Internet is maxed out 3meg DSL (60 bucks a month for that too).
We don't use the PC to browse the web, my wife and I have Galaxy S2 tablets for that. The only time I actually use the PC for browsing is either for work or to download a file for a game that is on the PC. My wife hasn't touched a PC in 2 years now. Chrome has the ability to view desktop...
I'm still running my 2009 PC build. A AMD 1100t. No real reason to change it since it does everything I need to do. Runs windows 10 very well with a SSD and 970 gtx I can play everything I want to play when it comes to gaming. I would definitely throw some money to AMD for a new build though but...
I've never seen this problem myself but I don't have anything of great value on any of my computers. Anything I want to keep gets burnt to a DVD/Blu ray, or usb thumb drive. My system could get a ransomware virus today and I would just wipe the drive and reload. At worst I would have to download...
I'm still running a Phenom II X6 1100T. I have been holding out quite a while myself. I have upgraded the GPU to a 970 but I could use a new build although this one still does what I want it to do.
We have a drive-in that we like to go to on the weekends. $6.00 gets me 2 first run movies. Popcorn is cheap but you can bring your own if you want. Tonight it's a triple feature, storks, the magnificent seven, and Masterminds. 2 bucks a movie.
We used to live in South Florida and went...
I'm also over 40, got my first Computer in 1982 a Televideo TS-803 and have used add blockers since they have been available. Although most of my surfing is now either done on my phone or tablet and I don't block adds on those, I just go to a handful of websites anyways.
Only took me 3 or 4 minutes to file, just my name address email and I used the device id found in the Nvidia control panel system info for the proof. I sent them a pic I made with the snipping tool.
It's only been out a year and a half on PC. I bought it 8 months ago. I played it a couple hours, haven't finished it yet either. I haven't owned any game consoles since Super Nintendo.
I've always said that I would wait until the 2nd or 3rd generation of VR comes out. I am not that interested in VR and what I've seen doesn't impress me to the point of needing it right now.
I
I would say that it sounds like someone who bought the wrong hardware and is making the advantages of the other product sound like a drawback.
I also don't have either of the products myself. I'll wait a generation or so to see how it all pans out. If I was going to put money down today...
I have a friend who races 250 size quads and his is good for 93mph. That was confirmed by a radar gun. It can't sustain it for more than a couple minutes though. It's a kit that you build and not pre-built. As far as rotor aircraft, helicopters are faster. SAB Goblin Speed is a 150mph Heli.
Alabama is the same. We often go out into the woods around here and there are more guns than owners here too. That being said, there's a crap load of cemeteries here too. They're not just in towns either, just about every church has one, and there are cemeteries hundreds of years old in the...
