    Acer X27 4k 144hz HDR Gsync

It took 7 business days and 2 calls to Newegg but I finally got my money back from this monitor. Looking forward to the next latest and greatest one to come out. From the looks of it, it will be Mini LED and fingers crossed a better fan or cooling solution. I think the biggest thing I will hope...

Intel Announces New Speculative Execution Side Channel Vulnerability

I honestly would have never thought the reason I am excited for the next Intel CPU won't be for performance but rather hard coded security fixes. If AMD would get a decent OC I would go with them.

Gsync 4k 144hz HDR monitor prices 'released'

Not sure if this has been discussed yet but it looks like they are making 2 versions of this monitor. The X27 which is on pre-order right now and the X27T, only difference being it has the eye tracking that we saw in the prototype, I would imagine they would charge ~$100-200 more. Newegg...

    Post your 8700K overclocks/advice

I ordered my CPU from SL, they delid and bin which is nice. Mind you the percentage hit X mhz is based upon the CPU after it's been delidded. I have mine stable at 5.2GHz 1.42 v. Exactly as what they promised me when I ordered it. As Sancus pointed out, SL also uses an AVX Offset of 2.

NVIDIA’s First 4K G-Sync HDR Monitor Is Available to Preorder for $2,000

I pre ordered mine yesterday. Been using an Acer Predator X34 for the past 2 years. Its 34" widescreen 21:9 3440x1440 100hz. For the distance I sit it's much too big. I find myself only really utilizing the size when I play games like Rocket League which use my controller and I can sit further...

He doesn't even mention anything about how the peoples cries for region locking China and the rampint hacking going on, seems like a largely missed opportunity. The hacking has been so bad that I have taken a break from the game. Two weeks ago I spent almot 30 min into a game with 3 of my...

    MSI MSI Gaming X99A GODlike Gaming LGA 2011-v3 - $149.99 A/R @ Newegg.com

Had this mobo since August 2015, as of last week my southbridge just fried. Before that this POS mobo kept frying my RAM, always the same slot too. Went through 4 chips, figured it was easier to get the chip replaced than the mobo since I upgrade every couple years and it was so infrequent. The...

Price Of Solar Declining To Unprecedented Lows

I wonder with low prices if it would be worth it to make an extended range vehicle with like the roof of solar. Even if it gets an extra 10 miles per charge it may be worth it as that adds up. Would be cool knowing that your car is getting some miles back just by it sitting in the parking lot.

My thoughts exactly. I own 12 3TB drives and don't plan on changing to 5-6TB ones until they hit around $100. I did the same with 1.5TB drives back in the day too. $100 is the sweet spot.

[H]OT DEAL: Acer Recertified Monitors Back In Stock (X34 Predator $730, XR341CK $600 and more)

There are 2 reasons you are incorrect. I know they don't make it clear so I will inform everyone. First one is if the item were elgiable for Squaretrade the option would be avaliable on the auction page itself. If it is not then Squretrade itself deemed it not applicable which is why you have to...
