hmm, i am gonna hold off upgrading untill they do.. i would love me some more power.. but would hate it when the dream monitor comes along.
I think i will look at the monitor first and then buy the gfx card that matches.
I has allways been the other way for me.. allways getting the newest gfx...
That part is a bit buggy - hey its arkham knight after all.
It's a normal takedown - but it only works close to the operating table and only at one stupid spot at this table.
so shift-rightclick away while circling the table :)
I think that developement is still aimed at PS4 type hardware, and will be for a long time.
so my prediction is that a 980ti will be just fine for 1440p60 max details for a couple of years..
and ofc Pascal/next-gen AMD for 4k if needed.
Perspective..to me you just described a sub-par experience.. but for you, its the bee's knee's
but i do really feel that 1080p @ 150hz is for suckers!!!
980 ti and phillips 40" 4k - it happens also once a week, it gets stuck at 30Hz and i can't change it back, 60Hz is missing from my control panel, a reboot solves it.
i totally agree, and for me it was GOTY material - but i feel like we only got 2/3's of a game, the third act missing? the unfinished story..
and so i looked it up on youtube, and behold the cut material in all its glory.
i don't think that a part of the game was for me to find the ending on...
i have been working hard on that backlog and had a incident with my knee.. so was parked infront of my pc for a few weeks..
DMC
well, the first one i played, i really like it, fast action nice graphics and it runs well in 4k on a single 980ti
Wolfenstein: the old bloood
Good still, but...
yup, in my own very unprofessional manner, both are just fine for games, even fps, sure they might blur more than your next screen but i like my inky blacks and glow free corners.. but until an actual oled 34-42 monitor comes out i like VA the best, and i am just fine with 60 fps gaming. - and...
i have both, i would say the phillips it does what the other one does.. but it has PWM, as far as i know the benq has not, so if you are affected by that? if not - imho its more cool and will rock when better hardware arives :) (if i haven't switched to oled by then)
i have a single 980ti...
well, who from [H] play these games?
i have 450+ games in my steam account, this might be a problem on less than 5% of those titles..
and..well, you could have a tablet for that, IF, that is something you somehow crave..
Well, for me the tearing sucked with two 980 ti in sli
So for me, thats NOT an option, i would much rather have 40fps gsyncd than 50-55 non synced.
But hey, it might just be the way my eyes work?
well so far anyways.
For me:
The witcher 3 - simply great and really reignigted my gaming love 10/10
batman arkham knight - a flawed gem, after interim patch a quite good game (and i LOVED the others) 8/10
MGS V - supreme presentation and technique - but flawed ending. 8/10
Best...
well i did that, found myself disappointed and stopped it..
will find another hobby to use my money on where i dont have to say thank you after picking up the sope.. (thats how nVidia makes me feel)..
and well, ati is not alot better, just cheaper - then the hookers and blow can make me...
Well, as the title says, i am currently an owner of a 980ti sli setup.
so i tried the 270HU (144Hz ips + gsync) and got a crappy version - sent it back - did not play the panel lottery.
so am now on the phillips 40" 4k - the 980 ti sli allmost run all my titles good, but its only good - i...
i am gonna say no to that statement.. my 980ti's in SLI does not play 4k just - sure some games like Metal gear - but not witcher..
and i do mean 4k 60 fps.
In my book that move was extremely stupid..^^
AMD's pr was/is atrocious atm, i really hope they also change their PR strategy..
i really want them to succed, nVidia really needs some competion - else they are gonna copy Intel (high prices and low performance increases from generation to...
Well, cuz i don't see a conspiracy in everything, and yes its annoyingly stupid evil when nVidia does it, i just dont see why they would do it, but i can see why the developer would choose not to, the game taking into consideration, they made a still buggy (but fun imho) game on another studios...
Well, perhaps the developer did not want to add more debugging for a feature - when not getting paid.
So it is a possibility that there was no TressFX on Nvidia and everything else, due to them not wanting to spend the time? and money?
No proof that AMD did this to hinder nVidia...
Well, i am not as smart it seems.. with my sli setup and all.. and actually, i know a few people with SLI setups.
And sometimes i really don't wanna be reasonable, i want stupid power, where other people might be satisfied with less, i am craving more.
and around two months later ati will deliever the "overclockers" dream II (The first being the Fury..)
but it will probably be cheaper/slower...
Unless everything implodes .. intel or samnsung buying Ati - nVdia going all mobile - ati stating to make toaster instead - Ps5 is so ridiculous fast...
i am guessing a Titan P (or whatever) around feb-mar 16 if not sooner - build with something like 16-32-64gb hbm for around 2k..
And Ati wont be able to do anything about it... then around June/july a Mainstream card will arrive, allmost as fast but with reduced memory... does history repeat it...
