Why in the world do gamers need chairs that look like a racing car seat?
The harness holes are functional and have no benefit for a gamer.
Racing seat are meant to keep your body in place under heavy lateral Gs. Are gamers in such a bad shape that they can't even keep their body in a sitting...
It is not about the former CEO of the company. It's about the company's responsibility toward it's investors (which include small investor like you and me). Microsoft has to ensure it's profitability. Laying off non-necessary employees sure is a good way of reducing expenses.
I suspect that the use of aluminum for the fins is more related to cost and weight that anything else. The fins being further from the motherboard, the impact of extra weight is increased. This adds extra stress on the motherboard. Using aluminum simply helps to keep the weight lower and keep...
I don't get why you guys react so much. First, this is just to remove search results based on an individual's name. So holocaust will still exist, even if Hitler comes back from his grave to remove all search results with his name.
Secondly, the internet is NOT the only source of information...
That is called maximizing profit margins and that is what business is about. Welcome in the real world!
Government is there to regulate to make sure the customer is not too much overpowered by the big corporations...
I don't know how business goes where you are. But around here, when you pay someone over 500$ a day, you don't mind spending a couple thousands to maximize this employee's efficiency (computer + screen). All the screen I've had for work (except third or fourth screen on a computer) were close to...
Progress is our ennemy! Let's go back to riding horses and killing animals with stones! Hum, actually maybe using a stone and riding a horse is still too much progress for some???
How do you come up with 30'' as a minimum size? My quick calculation give me a pixel density of about 200 DPI on the 23'' screen. That's well below what we can find on tablets (300 DPI) and cellphones (over 400 DPI on the S4).
I keep my screen a roughly 1.5 time the distance that I usually...
Every programmer I know, including myself, will NEVER say no to more pixels. For us, it just means more lines of code on the screen, so less scrolling.
And to be honest, we don't really care about color quality... It's usually black, blue and green on white (I may be missing a few colors, but...
I'm surprised to see everyone complain that 23 inches would be too small for the resolution. I have a tablet with a 10.1 inches screen that sports a 2560 x 1600 resolution and it's still possible to see pixels if I really want to (best way: draw a non-flat white line on a black background)...
I'm sorry, but I'm afraid you are no expert on the subject. First, C is NOT a high-level language, it is a low-level language. The best example is the fact that is allows and requires you to allocate memory yourself.
Your proposition of using higher level languages for tasks such as OpenSSL...
The two CEOs in a ring would be similar to something that happened in Québec. We got 2 politicians fighting in a ring...
Look for Justin Trudeau ring on Youtube :)
