For Witcher 3, going from one 1070 to 1070 SLI, wasn't a huge jump. @ 3440 x 1440. (got them for mining primarily). Ended up getting a 1080 instead for my Ryzen gaming rig. If you get two 1080 SLI, let me know how you like it.
I should of tried more games with SLI to be fair but addicted to W3...
Ordered an open box deal on a Zotac Extreme Amp! GTX 1080. Using it for 3440 x 1440 and so far have only tested Witcher 3 on it. Much better than my new 1070 and smoother than 2 1070 in SLI.
Same as above. Power draw mostly matters for my mining adventures. It is kind of fun that my current PC uses a lot less power and runs everything butter smooth.
I just got one to replace my AMD 270 that was heavily overclocked. The 970 is leaps and bounds better. Also slightly better stock then my 290x reference cooled card I just sold. The 290x with the stock cooler would downclock all the time and was not fun to play with.
Still running personal...
Currently running a MSI 6950. It was running for months at 960 mhz core. However, even at 960 Skyrim not that stable on my Yamaksi 2560x1440 monitor. When I got the video card was gaming at 1080p.
For under $300 what card would be the best for Skryim and AC3?
HBO Go, flash support (I know not an app). Cheaper prices for games. More free apps would be nice. More browser options and or better browsers.
But for me HBO Go is the #1 thing I am missing. When I went to WP7 this winter did not care about HBO Go and did not realize it was free for me. Now...
Agreed.
What I meant by the scrolling is for the phone for having a 4.7" screen had it been a higher resolution I could have more tiles/apps on the first screen without going to the menu to the right or needing to scroll down. I just now have enough apps installed to have the letter options...
I almost got the Nexus before trying Wp7 back in Nov 2011. The more I surf and read on Hard OCP the more I want to give Android one last go.
I am currently on contract locked into ATT unless I pay what is left of my ETF (about $290). But also like the idea of trying the $30 pre paid T mobile...
So I got sick of my Samsung Captivate and accidentally broke it in nerd rage back in Dec. I ended up extended my ATT contract and getting HTC Titan. Windows phone 7 was a breath of fresh air after trying many custom roms on the Samsung Captivate and it still always sucking. (horrid battery life...
Shrug I complained to ATT enough to have my bill dropped due to there lame pricing tiers. If people think there is not another game in town then Verizon wins. My ATT service is normally just as good if not better then my GF Verizon. Cept for Verizon rolled out there LTE here in the last year...
I use the speaker on back and set it on the counter when I shower. I know I could put a stereo in the bathroom but I rent and it has no outlets in that area!
SD card would be NICE but not required.
Currently have a HTC Titan. Love the phone; ok battery life, email support is good (OS), speaker is ok (use my phone for cheap music when in the shower) but no HBO Go support yet. The 4.7" screen is just about perfect for games/movies when on the go.
I debated going with Samsung Note but...
I WC my Lian Li 351B. Granted it was not a job for the faint of heart. A few co workers told me I could not do it, So I did.
I used a Rasa 240 kit and modded the case to make it fit. This may not be what your looking for though.
As the title said I killed my Samsung Captivate today. The loudspeaker stopped working AGAIN and did my normal taping it on table a few times. Well I guess I was not as gentle as normal (I was very pissed). Screen is messed up now. Had it for over a year anyhow so time to upgrade. I plan to stay...
Just picked up a pair of Samson SR 850. I was worried that the under $60 price tag would equal to bad sound. Not so! I am not an audiophile (yet) but they sound way better then my old logitech headphones with a mic.
So far sound good on Rap, Alternative, R&B, Pop, musicals. Gaming but only...
I was going to get the Corsair 1500 but after reading multiple reviews it did not sound like it was going to be a good all around buy. I ended up picking up Samson Sr 850 and so far they are very nice sounding in games AND in music.
Nice setup. Posted over at AT about triple monitor setup and if it is worth the investment. Seeing your setup makes me want it more. Also thinking about using the metal pipe idea for my next desk. Was going to go with colored PVC to hide the wires but that looks nicer.
I have dropped my Samsung Capativate multiple times. It still works.
Even threw it when I got mad at it google voice locking up for the 15th time in a day. Still working.
