It's not bad, especially once you populate the interior with components. Of course, fractal didn't use the thickest metal in this one and window is acrylic vs glass, but I think it's well designed for the price, in addition that paint looks quite good.
I am really liking this Cooler master case, although it isn't the smallest:

Also, as Algrim mentioned, Enthoo Pro M by Phanteks looks really good. Phanteks stuff is really well made...
Yup, it just plugs into your 5.25 bay. There are also dual 5.25" bay units that take three 3.5" hdds.
Like this one here:

I don't think there are any compatibility issues with most of...
You could also look at something like this. Which would work with any case that has 5.25" bays.

There are also smaller ones that fit one or two 3.5" hdds.
Fractal Focus G seems to have a decent airflow potential with that front mesh. Comes in variety of colors too.

Does anyone have experience with this case? It looks very classy with that brushed aluminium exterior and tempered glass. But that airflow concerns me.

A dirt cheap case for a cheap budget build with a Tempered glass side panel. Heads up that cooling in this tower is sub-par. However with some minor mods i think it could be improved significantly.
Decent deal. Although someone who wants a 1070 ti should watch the official Nvidia store. They pop up every other day for $450+tax. I just ordered one about a week ago. Came up to $475 after tax. I don't mind founders edition though.
Well, regardless of what we call it, they addressed excessive PCI-e powerdraw bringing it down to within-spec-level. Of course this issue shouldn't have existed in the first place, and 6-pin powerdraw is still out-of spec, but I think AMD deserves some credit. Card, in my opinion, still draws...
Looks like AMD fixed the PCI-e power draw problem. Good job, AMD. 6-pin Power draw is still out-of-spec but that isn't as much of a deal, I suppose.
Now lets see how well those AIB's overclock, and how they compare with 1060
PCPer link
Dammit, I was hoping to see some reviews today, oh well, perhaps next week... And the great waiting continues....
Btw found this neat photo showcasing how 1060 compares with 1070/80 size wise. Too bad there's no backplate.. I'm sure some AIB cards will come with one though.
It is anyone's guess why they don't have it.
There isn't any hate here, just slight disappointment, I am personally waiting to see what AIB cards are made of, have my $280 ready.
Common AMD, fix this crap!
But, 960... very bad too..
I don't know what you're talking about, man, people had their octafire 480s running at 1600mhz since the dawn of times, I mean for past 2 days, and nothing happened.. It must be nvidia conspiracy, the guy's gotta be an undercover nvidia agent!
On a serious note, I...
Nah, with modern intel cpus not improving as much as before from gen to gen, I think many people with decent quad-core 3-4 year old systems are likely okay. Take me for instance, I've got a Maximus IV Gene Z with 16Gb dominators and a 2500K running at 4.3Gz and I really have no issues with...
So if this is indeed a board level flaw, looking at every single retailer being sold out of 480s (thank God I resisted buying that XFX card), we very soon may see an unprecedented number of dead motherboards with melted pci-e slots, cause even if they lower clocks/power draw with a new driver...
Umm, mini engineers?
On a serious note, I wonder how much revised drivers can actually do. It kinda looks like reference card has little hope. But who knows... If the powergate issue can be solved with a new driver, all the software engineers (including mini-ones) better get a damn raise..
I...
Here are another two options for you. I'd suggest going with an overclockable build cause it'll just be more future-proof, since you kept your previous build for 10 years, it would probably be better ;). You pay less than $100 premium for the ability to OC.
Non OC build - $1,269.41 (before...
MSI 8GB version is now available for preorder as well, for $239.
I am wondering if XFX will cost more because of that backplate they include.
It certainly shouldn't be anywhere near $55 premium over MSRP
The only reason why I posted this here is because it's the first active preorder link I came across. So just wanted to share. Definitely didn't mean to mislead anyone. I personally would also wait till real benchmarks go live. If mods agree with you that this thread isn't suppose to be here...
It is a bit bigger than nano, probably about an inch longer (without a shroud) than a nano and about an inch shorter (with a shroud) than a 1070/1080 FE
