It worked!!!!!!! Its not running as cool as it did when i first got it, maybe the fans not on tightly or something, but its alive. Was gonna upgrade, but this will hold me till the prices settle.

Why is the card placed gpu facing down, shouldnt it be faced upward, so itll place it back in place. Having it downwards just makes it seems that itll get looser? Baking happening in a few days.

Ive been reading this post, and have nothing to lose. I am going to try it on my XFX 8800GT. My question is, does the plastic from the power connector on the card get damaged or warped by baking, also is there any other advice you can give me on what I should do? KKTHANKZ
