Quote MrGuvernment....You dont see many SSF WC rigs, at least i havent found many...i assume you need min a MicroATX case? cant go much smaller than that...
With the Z77-itx there is plenty of choise to go radical with ITX, i can't come up with a reason (for me) to go bigger anymore :) (able...
Just to give you some more ideas --> http://www.mijnalbum.nl/Album=KHLM7YG6 :)
(foto's in link aren't uptodate i see now, mainboard has been recently switched for a P8Z77-I DELUXE with also the chipset watercooled, will ad those foto's to link when i have time)
Thats why the smiley winks ;), i wanted big radiator so i had to put it next to it. Fans and pump are temperature controlled, so most of time i can run it passive cooled with just the pump spinning slowly.
Iff you want it internaly, it can be done...just remove the optical (cd) and a 240 rad...
No more questions about "will this cooler fit?" "will a H60/H70/H80 fit?" after this post!!!..;)
Custom watercooled SG07????.. No problem...Yes we can! :D
Samurai ZZ, nice and easy fit, not too large, cheapest way to go for average cooling.
or
Standard waterkit Corsair H**, Asetek, Intel watercooler and so on and on, wil fit (some better than others) noisy pumps and fan's mostly, expensive but good cooling.
My 2 cents.....dont overclock, 2500K...
Hahahaha... you are defenitely right :)
The light, a 30 cm blue led-thing (for the gpu-side) is under way custom-made by a friend of mine from another forum.(pictures soon)
The original case cover fits now because i dont use 3-slot cooler no more, but the original cover wont do justice to all...
I think it is ok, when idling its a little humming sound on the background and while gaming (load) it is like every other stock rear-exhaust cooler not that quiet, but i must say the card runs pretty cool so the fan doesnt have to spin that hard to cool it on auto-settings of the fan.
Its the...
Some new pictures here ---> http://www.mijnalbum.nl/Album=L3O4BQBI only small update with less SSD's (just one new generation SSD instead of multiple in raid) and a new GPU (7970) with a 2-slot cooler (still thinking of some plexi/acryl panels tho)
@cshard.... no update on the acrylpanels, didnt had the time for it lately, new GPU'S coming already in Januari Februari from AMD.
So likely there will be a nice 2-slot 7000 serie that i will put in there and close it with the original cover.
The Acrylpanels... was planning to have them made by...
I just responded to it, i''m not online much and im on aircooling :)
Factory card's that blow hot air out the case are only the rear exhausting cards.
Far as i know all the twinfrozer look a likes that all manufacturers make are always blowing towards the card/ in the case.
10c raise from...
1: Did you mount the +- in the right position, leds dont light up when +- is in wrong way.
2:Arctic is 3 slots which is to big to close chassis, max is 2,5 slots card or coolers.
Did you even read the posts i mentioned and took a look at the pictures? The goal is to have the cpu-cooler extend out of the case just as far as the gpu-cooler does.

If you were refering to my last post, please check the posts made before that (on page 32) my case will be without the 180mm AP-fan. (and also the original cover will be replaced)
More like this :) :)
Yep :) i already thought of that..... i was thinking of high topflowcooler so the fan on top of the cooler also pops out of the case (just like gpu-cooler) when i put the panels on it.
Havent found a suitable cooler yet, one that has got the style i like. (open for suggestions)
Found this one...
working on some new mindtwists that came to me lately :)
Thinking of a sidepanel with cutout for the vga where the vgacooler pops out, toppanel with some ventilationholes, and other sidepanel also with some ventilation, don't know yet what plexi/acryl to put on there.... something smoke...
@muvon2000........
Scythe samurai ZZ fanless is doable but temps are high which i don't like, running the 180mm fan on low and a silent 92mm fan is good :)
So here it is :)
Also a dayshot (curtains closed) of the led's, i used 2 x 5mm led's and they light the GPU subtle, will shoot a...
@muvon2000........ Usb-cable, remove the cd-writerbracket (iff needed also the hddbracket) then route the cable directly along the exhaustside of the psu and it will be long enough.
CPU-fan will return, i ripped out some wires so its dead, i ordered a new (better looking) one :)...
@muvon2000 ........... Keep an eye on this thread, i have same board-layout and start sleevin and rerouting the cables tomorrow.
Will take pictures along the way and when finished.
Quote Rizzt "Gonna change to whole cable management. Gonna sleeve everyting. Not at all happy with it right now. It looks like crap. I have orders sleeves and shorter SATA cables."
Same for me :) first i just put it together and ran it, now seeing my pictures inside my case makes me nauseous...
The stock psu can handle 600watts continu (max is even more), here they tested overload and it shuts down at 780watt --> http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/SilverStone-Sugo-SG07-Review/1064/7 , so 600watt continu with even peaking now and then to 650-700watt should be ok. my 2 cents :)
@mlongrie........ If you are going to use mesh version of the case, why not mount 2 x 50 mm fan's on the beggining of the side mesh.
Don't know if 50 mm will be best, but what i mean is just 2 small fan's above each other stick em with some double-sided tape and try, this way you don't hurt this...
Quote Lutfij "I think you could do a better job of the cables inside the case. Why don't you route the sata data cables round the sides of the case...and out of the way?"
I don't overclock and don't mind the 2-5 degrees difference, the temps are as expected and well within specs.
Standard...
@ Lutfij
4 ssd's + 1 hd is easy :), you can stick 2 ssd's with some double coated tape under the bracket for the slim-line cdplayer (see my pictures in last post or the one below, you can see the sata cables going under the cdplayer)
Temps (cpu) are ok, around 35 idle and 45 load (gaming)...
Hi all SG07 enthousiasts,
Stumbled upon this forum and topic by google, read some and registered lately.
Here some pictures of my system, hope to ad some extra info for other SG07-users.
Only two updates on my mind for my pc this year, subtle ledlighting on the gpu-side and...
