    I don't know how you measure the power consume, but when it power off, it should't take more than 1W or so. otherwise it isn't power off at all.

    b134 is OpenSolaris 2010.03, but never release officially. you can get it from here http://genunix.org/dist/indiana/ filename is osol-dev-134-x86.iso I also run CentOS 3.9 in lx zone, but never try kernel 2.6 distribution. I think b134 is a perfect OS for HP microserver. fits all my needs...
